Dan Ventura struck us both as being personable, intelligent, and highly knowledgeable about air quality. He carefully toured the entire house, commented on things he noticed, and took readings which he then sent to us in a follow-up report with his recommendations. Those recommendations do not involve installation of fancy or expensive equipment, but are primarily focused on increasing the air exchange in our home with the use of our existing exhaust fans (because, as he put it, "the solution to pollution is dilution"). He also pointed out a change we could make to our furnace setup that might improve air quality.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone concerned about home air quality. Not because Hawk is pretty much the only game in town (which they seem to be at the moment), but because we feel we received excellent service at an extremely reasonable price.
