Obot Electric

Justin did a great job upgrading the old panel from 1968 (original with the house). He worked quickly and efficiently. We went over the circuit labels together once he was done so that I understood which circuits were for what areas of the house. Very easy to coordinate with Justin. The followup customer service Obot provides is very responsive. I had completed a bathroom remodel almost two years ago, and found that the Panasonic fan Obot had installed had quit working recently with no apparent cause. As an existing customer, Obot Electric was able to schedule me in even though they were booked out quite far in the future. They sent Justin to troubleshoot and he found the problem and got the fan working again at no charge. It was admittedly a simple fix (the plastic power plug had worked itself loose from the circuit board and needed re-setting), but I really appreciated the no charge visit and am happy to be a loyal customer. The B grade is just to forewarn others that they are higher on the price scale. However, Obot makes it worth to me in terms of customer service, quality, and peace of mind.

This is the second time I've asked Brent to help with electrical service - as before, he did an amazing job. He showed up early, got quickly to work on the outside fixture, and proceeded to quickly complete work on the EV charger, two outside fixtures, and one inside fixture. He's efficient, suggests ways to minimize the cost of the work, and the work is clean and neat. I can't imagine using anyone else for electrical work.
The only (slightly) negative aspect was that I didn't initially get a call back - but they were apologetic about the oversight, and since it didn't happen last time, I don't think it's systematic.

It went great!  Jay was very attentive to ensure he understood what I was asking him to do.  He offered suggestions without trying to upsell. His quotation was very clearly put together, in writing.  And his work was very professional and clean.
When Jay said he would be onsite at a specific time, he was.  I really appreciate Jay and Obot Electric's professionalism and approach.  I would not only call them in the future, but also recommend to others. Thank you!

From the time of Brent's estimate to the completion of the work including ordering and installation testing of the generator took only two weeks.  Brent kept us fully informed as to schedule and progress on a daily basis including daily updates with respect to how things were going on the cost.

OBOT brought our shop, barn, and arena up-to-code in half the time and one-third the cost of two other electrical vendor quotes.  And, OBOT was professional, thorough, and knowledgeable.  Highly recommend OBOT for your electrical needs.

Andrew was a real patient electrician, especially considering all of the work and decisions that needed to be made.  He was very responsive via email, phone, and text.  This helped a lot when I had questions from another subcontractor.  I thought the price was a little high even in spite of a 5% discount by using Signature Services Group (main IKEA contractor).  I had one small issue where I had to go out and procure a bunch of electrical parts (under-cabinet lighting dimmer, HDMI jack, coax jack and cable).  I expect for electricians to have these items stocked in their truck.  Maybe this saved me money by having to go out and purchase these items as opposed to the electrician.  All in all I liked working with Obot and Andrew and would recommend them again.

Initially our sales person Jeff had gotten the impression that I just wanted them to do the install of the generator and we would do the rest and he gave us a quote for that.  So they are flexible on how much or little they do on the project.
However, I explained to Jeff I wanted to pay one invoice and have them handle everything and that is just what happened. They got the permits, took care of the gas plumber, did the job with true craftsmanship and got the inspectors out here to check the work.
Brent was our electrician and ran the job on-site. They were all extremely courteous and took special care to keep our carpets clean and clean up after themselves. I work from home and Brent took special care to minimize the disruption to my work. I think my computers were down an hour at most for the whole project. The electrical panels are all cleanly wired and labeled. Brent even labeled the wires coming out of the panel. Brent patiently explained it all to me and answered every one of my questions and concerns very well.
We are thrilled with their work. Even the electrical inspector was impressed!
I will absolutely be calling them back for our next project!

Obot came in and listened to my needs. Designed a lighting solution and exceeded my expectations. Very affordable and efficient. High quality.  Jeff and Brent were great!

OBOT was a pleasure to work withand the quality of the work was excellent. We received a bid from another contractor who told us we would have to identify the circuits we wanted hooked to the new generator on our own, and that the contractor would not support us through the process. The OBOT electrician worked with us up front to identify the appropriate circuits, and then took time once the generator was installed to make sure the correct circuits had been identified and were connected, and to correct any errors. Each of the OBOT contractors were skilled, friendly, punctual and took time to answer our questions, and to correct any issues we brought up during the process, all within the competetive bid we were initially quoted (which was less than the competitor who had told us we would be on our own to identify circuits). We plan on using OBOT again in the future for our electrical needs.

Simply put, this is an excellent company to work with. They bring a professional crew, years of experience and solid, customer-oriented management to the job. I hired them based on a recommendation from my painting contractor, and was very pleased with their work. A few highlights from my experience: - They were very consultative in selecting the can lighting options, including trim. They worked with me to bring several options to my house, and made recommendations based on their experience and my existing installations. - I made several changes to the scope of the work to be performed once the job began, and at every step they were prepared to address the additional work quickly and with enthusiasm. - I was disappointed with one of the custom light fixtures I had ordered, and once I let them know I wasn't happy, they chose to absorb the restock cost and replace it with another selection in order to ensure I was satisfied with the work - even though it really wasn't their problem. Above all, the key differentiation for me with Obot was the personal touch. Jeff (project lead), and Frank (lead electrician) were fantastic to work with and over the course of the job became trusted consultants for us. I asked questions about the work throughout, and at every stage they were both willing to explain the steps in detail and make me a part of the process in order to ensure I was able to make the right product and installation decisions. Bottom line, if you're looking for a quality electrical contractor with transparent professionalism and an obsession with the customer experience, in my opinion Obot is the right choice. I would definitely use them again and have already referred a few friends their way. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Prompt, polite, quick and they cleaned up everything when they were done. Smooth job for a cool price. I have already called for them to return to do more projects. We are also pleased with their audio visual partners Wipliance.
