"I needed a new kitchen constructed in a basement laundry area with a concrete floor. While the area had natural gas, water and some electricity, it required extensive replumbing and figuring out how to obtain enough electricity for appliances, washer/dryer, three sets of ceiling and under-cabinet lighting AND a sauna. I also requested earthquake proofing and exterior lighting before the walls were closed in. Peter was phenomenal in creatively and efficiently solving every problem. He installed the cabinets so perfectly that the countermen asked who had done it. I recommend him unconditionally."

Do you find that you just do not have the time to get special contracting projects done because of school being in session, many years of do-it-yourself projects and just don't want to do it any more, busy schedules with work, etc, yet do not want to spend outrageous prices that most contractors will charge because of living in the Area. If you are in need of small repairs, room additions, exterior/interior painting of your entire residence, power washing roofs and siding when it's cold and wet outside, drywall repairs, but would like to save on costly company quotes/bids that are outrageous in price, you can contact me for reasonable pricing accommodations. I have been painting and staining for over ten years and have started a small business after graduating from a University. If you are reluctant at hiring outside sources because you do not feel comfortable with strangers working on your home, i can provide a list of references from business owners and homeowners to vouch for my performance and quality work. If you would like to paint projects on your own but you just simply have a hard time reaching because of height, do not have time because of a busy schedule, or just do not have the skills to perform painting, staining, and repair tasks, I can offer that service for you. I and my crew can complete small 50-100 sq. foot bathrooms to 2500 sq. foot or more interior/exterior surfaces of a home. There is no job that is to Big or small to tackle and your final product will have a professional finish. In all other cases, it’s usually a better idea to have a professional refinish them to save money and restore their original condition.

Walls in good condition with an even surface should be fine for frameless cabinet installation. Older, uneven, or warped walls could create problems. Your studs and their spacing are especially important, since frameless cabinets rely so much on wall attachments. Call in a professional installer for a consultation if you aren’t sure.

It depends on your ceiling height. Wall cabinets are typically mounted 54 inches from the floor. So, if you have eight-foot ceilings, you’ll need 42-inch-high wall cabinets to fill the gap. And you’ll need 54-inch cabinets if you have nine-foot ceilings. But standard-sized cabinets don’t come in 54 inches, so you'll need to stack various sizes together. And, if you have ceilings higher than nine feet, it’s a good idea to have custom stacked cabinets made to fill your space.

As a homeowner, there are a few things you can do to prepare for your cabinet installer. Once the cabinets are ready for your home, you can do the following:

  • Ensure pets are safely in another room, out of the way of open doors and large moving objects.

  • Clear countertops for removal.
