Fantastic, I can't speak highly enough of Tony/Elite and his crew. They do outstanding work at very fair prices and are worth every penny. He has great ideas and we focused on best value so I would strongly suggest you ask him for his ideas to get the most out of your experience. He has a great list of subcontractors he has worked with over the years and I was more than satisfied with the work that his subs for drywall, paint, plumbing, electrical, gutters, and even excavation did. The further we got into the house the more "issues" we found with the framing and structure of the house but no worries, Tony corrected all the structural issues and the house is better built and stronger than it was when new.
He did such an amazing job on the remodel I hired him to manage the installation of a "pole barn" garage I had a company that specializes in those buildings assemble. He was a big help in pinning down the exact location of the building and had his guys do all the necessary excavation, drainage, gutters, interior framing, wiring, insulation, drywall, and paint of the building which saved me a bundle in comparison to having the pole barn company do it.

They are very reliable. They do a great job on cleanup when they are done. They always included in every step of the process even in reference to changes in the plan.

The job went great with Tony. He is very professional, on time, and does GOOD work. Everybody who has come through the house for various bids and estimates, from painters to general contractors, have commented on how good of a job Tony did on our wall. We have been in contact with Tony regarding upcoming cabinet, window, and deck projects, and look forward to working with him in the future.

The project went very well, as described above. In fact, I subsequently had Tony come help with some problems with my electrical outlets. He was able to pull in an electrician colleague (which saved me research-time to select an electrician). While I was out, they were able to replace a bunch of outlets for me. I will probably call him to do some more things, since this house was built in the 50s and needs some "tweaking"....

"[member name removed] was a pleasure to work with. He understood the changes that were necessary and made quick decisions to help me get the job accomplished in one day as he needed. He also was thankful enough to pay me more than I originally billed for. Many of us are on a tight budget these days and therefore I try and keep costs competitive while still providing quality service. So, when a customer can afford to add a gratuity it is especially appreciated and deserves mention and serves as a positive motivation in hard times."

Working with Elite was a nightmare. When Tony installed our cabinets, he didn't use the plans that were sent to him by us and our cabinet designer (two different emails), and therefore mistakes were made that cost more money in replacement pieces. He later claimed to have not received the plans and therefore did not think he was responsible for the mistakes. Regardless of whether he received the plans, I would expect a professional installer to request any missing information prior to starting work.
The mistakes were minor however, and aren't the reason for my negative review. The reason is his extremely unprofessional conduct and the resulting stress he caused us. Tony endlessly argued about who was at fault. He yelled at my husband numerous times over the phone, and wouldn't even pause to let him speak. He claimed that we lied about the plans being sent to him, so we forwarded the emails sent by us and the cabinet designer. He then claimed that we fabricated the emails. Then his wife (whom I had never contacted before) sent a threatening email to me, at minimum threatening to hack our computer, but possibly threatening more than that (was incoherent and obscene, so not exactly sure). After that we filed a police report, instructed Tony to limit all future communication to email, and did not allow him back to our house.
We told Tony that we would be finding another installer to fix his mistakes because we were not comfortable with him in our home, and would deduct that cost from his final bill (he had given us a final bill in advance that assumed work was complete). He continued to frequently call my husband and leave dramatic voicemails (ignoring our multiple requests to stop calling), and also harassed us via email. Finally, we found another installer that finished the work. We did as we had repeated to Tony many times and paid him the difference (the majority of his bill).
Honestly, I've felt hesitant to even write a review here because I wouldn't be shocked if he and/or his wife started to harass us again because of it. But I think other potential customers should know about his despicable behavior.

"This job was completed correctly and professionally for the price quoted. There was a disagreement about one small part of the cabinet installation. The part in question was installed correctly with the materials and installation design provided at the time. Not I or any one who works for me ever yelled at or threatened anyone involved in this job. The customers requested I pay for mistakes that I was not responsible for and when I refused they would not pay in a timely manner."

They did really nice woodwork, and it was well rounded. I was pretty happy with him. He and another person came to do the work with all of their tools and were prepared for a big job. He came with a good recommendation to us. We would recommend them!

Tony has done most of the work on our home since its completion last year. Our general contractor was so poor that Tony was a savior and finished most of the undone warranty work at a reduced cost since our general disappeared. In this case, he designed a better look for our kitchen window and front entry posts. His ability to visualize the look and work closely with my wife on the options is refreshing. He is a true craftsman and the house is in good shape thanks to the many jobs he has done for us. Similar to the others, he came over on a Saturday so we could be home and work with him and the result was stellar. He is one of the few honest contractors I have dealt with in the building of our home. I would highly recommend him.

They do excellent work. Everything is tight and level, and there are no visible gaps or defects, no tool marks, etc. Tony readily explained various options for my installation and was obviously dedicated to making me happy. He and his employees are polite, respectful, upbeat and eager to please. They showed up on time even on short notice - and cleaned up very well after themselves when finished.
They repeatedly went the extra mile. The cabinet supplier had sent the wrong hinges for one unit, Tony contacted the supplier and
coordinated the replacement then showed up for a half-hour job when they came in. The dishwasher didn't fit the pre-made cabinet, Tony's employee came in - again for a short period - to sand the edges to fit. He then painted the exposed edge - even though it didn't show and I hadn't asked him to; and now it looks like was manufactured that way. He then finished the dishwasher installation - again without even being asked.
The hardware that came with my sink didn't 't fit properly, Tony tried several different approaches and techniques to get it in. Although he never was able to make it fit together, I was impressed with his perseverance and ingenuity. He made some minor modifications to other cabinets when he was dissatisfied with the original supplier's construction.
So many contractors today do the bare minimum accompanied by a lousy attitude. It's refreshing to work with someone that remembers what customer service is all about. I will happily work with Elite Carpentry again.

See above. Tony not only did the work, he also spent quite a bit of time discussing trim and finish details with us prior to material selection. He worked with our schedule and took care of odds and ends that needed done before his tasks could be finished. He contacted us if he had a question and we would quickly resolve any issue.

Tony opened up an area of the ceiling that had water damage and discovered dry rot on the wood underneath. He fully explained that he could not know the extent of damage until he opened up the ceiling. He gave us a bid based on a best case scenario as we asked. He showed us his discovery and brought in another contractor we know to discuss how he wanted to proceed. He then provided an updated bid based on what we found. Our home was built in 1953 and has some "creative construction". Tony was able to replace the rotted wood and tie in the cross beams that connected to it, replace the drywall, and get it all finished and painted over 2 and 1/2 weeks. He subcontracted to another guy to take the popcorn off and retape and mud the patch, and another guy to paint. The mudding process took some time to dry as it was a large area and needed a few coats. It turned out great and came in at the bid price. They consistently cleaned up every day, protected all of our belongings and the walls and communicated with us every step of the way. I would hire him again!
