"The need for a footing drain was a surprise to me during my basement remodel due to water leaking in through the blocks. Raman and his team got me on the schedule fairly quickly, did a great job. They also set up new plumbing for 2 bathrooms and a kitchen in the basement, and removed my old water heater and installed a tankless water heater. Any issues that came up, they were very quick to resolve (including an old copper pipe that they didn't install which welding came loose, and they were there same day to fix.) great honest service, reliable service. They called the next morning and confirmed that the repair team was on its way and two members of Schmitty's staff arrived shortly thereafter, showing up a few minutes earlier than the scheduled time. They were hard working and receptive of customer feedback. They first removed the ivy that was obstructing the work area and then completed the trench on day 1 which uncovered some of the unwelcome water sources. A legacy footing drain was plumbed directly into the main french drain pipe. Perpherated pipe was dropped in on Day 2 followed by river rock, catch basins, and 3 ft dry well installation. Cleanup was done thoroughly. I would hire them again in a heartbeat."
