They placed mats down to protect the floors. I had a large water bed in on room which the guys took care of and were willing to work around. "Normal 0 From start to finish our experience with Lake Washington Windows & Doors was outstanding. Other window installers had told us our 1982 Weathervane wood windows couldn't be retrofitted with inserts and had to be full-frame replacements. So we were pleasantly surprised when Adrian, owner of Lake Washington Windows & Doors, told us inserts were no problem as long as the frame was in good shape. He carefully inspected every window and frame and determined which could be retrofitted and which were damaged enough to need full-frame replacements. He asked a lot of detailed questions and took the time to help us figure out exactly what we wanted. Since they were able to do inserts on the majority of the windows their estimate came in way below the others. They did an excellent job and the windows and doors look great. The installation work started and ended on schedule and every crew member was professional and courteous. The "stain guy" sub Peter matched existing interior millwork perfectly. There were some minor hiccups along the way (no job this size is without them) but response was immediate to make things right. In one case we didn't even have to ask--Adrian saw a window he wasn't happy with and arranged for it to be reinstalled. Adrian and his whole team were great to work with, and quality and customer satisfaction are clearly points of pride. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again."
