We used La Tortuga to replace/reconfigure our garage door and paint our house. John was very attentive and helpful and we are very happy with the results. See before and after below!

La Tortuga helped us out with two home repair projects this year. We consider John and his crew to be very professional, reliable and will be calling them for our future home projects.

We hired John and crew to repaint our house and replace our front deck. Everything went great! Great quality work at a reasonable price. I found John et al. easy to work with and flexible to changes as the projects went along. While painting the house they found considerable rot and they had someone out the next day to start repairing that as well. 10/10. I intend to continue to hire John for all future projects around the house.

Great quality for a reasonable price

It was important to us to find an installer for our kitchen backsplash who understood our vision and demonstrated skills in this area. John was very responsive and worked within our budget. Johnathan did an excellent job installing our glass tile and grout. He was very accurate and tidy, cleaning up after the job was completed. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend the team!

I hired La Tortuga LLC (owner John Glenn) for a recent (Nov/Dec 2022) remodel project in which they installed all new interior doors, trim and baseboards for me. Iâ m really pleased with how it turned out, and the entire process was smooth. His employee Jonathan is an extremely talented and super nice guy, with an amazing work ethic and attention to detail. If you want quality work for a fair price, I highly recommend them. He also previously did 2 small projects for me in September 2022. One inside (install new baseboards I provided, after I had my hardwood floors refinished) and one outside (remove a rotten post under an eave & replace with a 6x6 post including installing a cement base). He was quick to respond & come look at the projects, explained his pricing, showed up on time & he and his employee Jonathan did quality work. In October 2022 I had another positive experience when he installed a small patio awning for me. Again, he and his employee Jonathan did a great job, completed the project promptly and charged a fair amount.

Used La Tortuga for multiple smaller projects throughout my home, including some smaller partial bath remodels and lots of "handyman" work. John the owner is friendly, flexible and accommodating with schedules and pricing. His worker Jonathan is also friendly and polite, a hard worker, on time, leaves his job site clean, listens well and aims to please. His work is meticulous and his experience lends itself to finding solutions to obstacles. I would not hesitate to call La Tortuga again in the future.
