"Johnson and Sons Construction came through for us in an urgent situation; the vertical trim of the garage door opening accidentally got knocked in while the car was going in, which misaligned the garage door track and also cracked adjacent siding. Vic was very responsive and came out the next day to realign the trim and assured us that the damage was not structural (as a result we were able to quickly arrange for a garage door specialist to readjust and tune up the garage door system). He delivered on his commitment to provide an estimate to replace the damaged siding and have his team come out to do the work, scheduling us for within a couple of weeks. John and Tony did great work replacing the siding, which looks seamless and was made to ready-to-paint condition. Communication was clear and responsive throughout, and we received timely and good quality service that matched the scope of the estimate. The hours needed to complete the job far exceeded the estimate and I was not alerted at the time.  Apparently there was a misunderstanding between the description of one of the tasks on the estimate and what I understood it to mean added on top of the actual time needed to perform the task.  Regardless, I did not think the cost to me for extra hours was justified and negotiated to pay for only half of those extra hours.

The contractors did a fantastic job at keeping the dust to a minimum inside the house, but because it was November and raining, they had to cut the tile in the garage and did not hang up plastic sheeting to protect the interior from all the dust.  Granted its a garage, but the dust was excessive.  Everything was coated.  The owner did come to clean up garage, but hard to get all that fine dust.
