"Project Management Issues & Pending Renovation Work. I 100% agree with one of the previous reviews and, unfortunately, am experiencing the same issues that have caused unnecessary delays and frustration. While the quality of work itself is good, the project management leaves much to be desired. My bathroom renovation started on December 1st, 2025, with a promised completion time of two weeks. It has now been almost a month, and the project is still not finished. I would admit that I am responsible for one week delay in replacing a bathtub. Throughout this process, I have received little to no communication ? no daily updates and not even consistent weekly updates ? regarding the timeline or the scope of work being completed. This lack of communication from the project manager, Orkhan, has caused unnecessary delays and frustration. Coordinating with both the crew and management has been extremely difficult, and the project manager?s attitude has at times been rude and unprofessional. "

"I contracted Virginia Foundation Solutions because of an issue I had with water seeping through the concrete/cinder block wall to the garage during heavy/steady rains and would install a weeping tile and pump system. The crew that came out to the job site, Joel, Alex, Tomas and Jacke known as "The Blue Crew", were on time and started the work right away. They were cognizant of the plumbing to the water well and the electrical on that side of the house. They were very careful during the excavation. The work took a good part of the day, and when it was completed, I couldn't have been happier with the overall results. I had brick pavers that I was able to incorporate into the landscape to frame out the upper layer of rock that was applied over the drainage rock and weeping tile/tubing. The testing of the pump functioned perfectly, and the electrical work was contracted through DT Electric LLC. Thank you again, Virginia Foundation Solutions and DT Electric in assisting me to resolve my water intrusion problem."

We built a second home on a mountain side in Front Royal so we were not able to visit as often as we would have liked to see the progress being made. But we were always pleased with the craftsmanship and the progress when we visited. The process was smooth with just a few hiccups along the way. Mr. Richard treated my home as if it was his own making sure everything was done correctly. At times, I felt like his trades and subs often went above and beyond and gave me the best service possible. Overall, we are very pleased with the workmanship and the completed product exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you for the beautiful new home, we are very proud of it. "After having a horrible experience with Andre and filing a complaint with the GM for the area, results still remain to be seen. So professionalism is non-existent and follow-thru still hasn't happened. The word of the GM, contractor supv as well as the actual contractors/engineers are garbage. Character by way of integrity and keeping their word is definitely not available with this company. Don't believe anything they say."

"Very, very disappointing experience; Lux replaced the foundation of my 1850 log cabin. The design was bad, the communication was bad, the execution was bad. Throughout the entire process, they were making mistakes. I now need to pay another company to fix the mess they left behind. I would strongly suggest not using this company!"

"French drain was installed with drain boxes, berm installed near property line, sump pump installed into new drain, top soil added in disturbed areas, grass seed/straw over same. Company told me they'd be back to be sure grass was growing plus I needed more top soil and a cap is missing from sump pump line, but had no repeat visit -- this is my only complaint. The drain held up during/after recent big storm. Berm is deteriorating due to storm and more grass seed was needed before storm. Otherwise, I am very pleased. Company owner and workers were very pleasant. He explained process as work progressed. They're a little expensive, but it was a job well done."

"My experience with Copper Fox was absolutely terrible. The sales representative, Harold, assured me the project was 2-3 weeks. We started the project in early May. Copper Fox was very gracious and took a two hour lunch break instead of a one hour lunch break everyday so that my son could sleep. I knew that this accommodation would likely make the project take a little longer, but would only affect the loud portion of construction which was framing and some of the screwing during the installation of drywall. Copper Fox did not finish the project until the end of September because they failed to order materials in a timely manner. On top of the project delay the workmanship was extremely shoddy and they failed to communicate with me in a timely manner. Their "project manager" barely came to site and didn't show up for the final inspection I had to handle it myself. I am happy to share my contract and all email correspondence."

"The siding wasn?t installed properly over our front door and yellow jackets got in and built a nest in the wall. Mr. Branner said he would fix it and is now avoiding our phone calls. Very unprofessional after making 20,000 for the job . We had to contact an exterminator to come!"
