I contracted Virginia Foundation Solutions because of an issue I had with water seeping through the concrete/cinder block wall to the garage during heavy/steady rains and would install a weeping tile and pump system. The crew that came out to the job site, Joel, Alex, Tomas and Jacke known as "The Blue Crew", were on time and started the work right away. They were cognizant of the plumbing to the water well and the electrical on that side of the house. They were very careful during the excavation. The work took a good part of the day, and when it was completed, I couldn't have been happier with the overall results. I had brick pavers that I was able to incorporate into the landscape to frame out the upper layer of rock that was applied over the drainage rock and weeping tile/tubing. The testing of the pump functioned perfectly, and the electrical work was contracted through DT Electric LLC. Thank you again, Virginia Foundation Solutions and DT Electric in assisting me to resolve my water intrusion problem.

This was a great experience from the first interaction to last. The Yellow Crew, Alan, Jacobo, Mauricio ( the workers) were amazing. Their foreman, Tommy and Michael DeMasi, the foundation specialist, were excellent. Everyone was punctual. They kept us informed all along the way. Price was reasonable for scope of work. We live on the water and crawl space was getting moldy and very humid which you could detect as you entered the house. Virginia Foundation Solutions solved the problem very effectively, professionally, and with competitive pricing. After a year, the annual maintenance proved the system installed was correct and remains effective. We called several businesses to address concerns of our foundation settling which became obvious from cracked bricks on the back of our house. Virginia Foundation Solutions was the third to arrive and give us a detailed estimate. They were extremely detailed about the process they would use and how that would solve our problem. They gave us a start date that was about a month in the future. They were in constant communication with us and started on the exact date promised. The crew arrived on time and worked harder than I thought possible. They were very professional and polite, kept us abreast of there progress and finished on time. They worked in a manner that would make you think it was THEIR home. I can't say enough good things about them, but, if you are in need of this type of costly repair you can't go wrong with Virginia Foundation Solutions. And NO, I haven't been paid for this review.....

Timely, they even finished a day early. Excellent workmanship and great people. Cleaned up everything every day. I have been in the building industry for 39 years and I can say they did a great job and the pricing was 25% lower then the next contractor for the same scope of work. I did end up paying a small change order to ensure rodents could not get in the space by chewing through the vents as they had before but even the cost for this was reasonable and still less than the next contractors bid.

Terry inspected my foundation, but unlike the other inspectors, he inspected and measured inside my house as well as outside, spotting cracks that helped him diagnose the problems. He proposed a solution that involved placing pilings beneath the foundation in the back of the house. The work went extremely well. Daniel headed up the installation of the pilings, and after three days, I was able to open the sliding door in my basement for the first time in a year. Everything was cleaned up I am very pleased with the quality and price, and I strongly recommend VFS to everyone.
