First, Matt came out, performed an assessment and explained everything well. He was friendly and answered all my questions about the work being performed. That set the tone for a great experience! After the estimate was received I made an appointment. The day of the appointment Adamâ s team arrived exactly on time: I live somewhat remote and that his team was on time really speaks for the company and itâ s work culture and ethics! Adam and his team worked in the crawl space, which was difficult for me to get into. Adam kept me informed throughout the process and even took pictures after the job was done to show me the results. "After interviewing several companies to have our kitchen remodelled, we selected VKB, and we are happy we did. VKB provided a lower estimate than other companies, and their reviews were good. As our designer, Sean was easy-going, accommodating and patient in explaining our options. "The crawlspace in our recently purchased house was a mess—full of water, mold, and deteriorated insulation. NV gave us a competitive price, on par with the other bids we got, and their bid seemed more comprehensive than some of the others. Jaime did an excellent job explaining everything to me and talking me through any questions we had. Once the work began, Manny and the rest of the guys did a great job—they were on site promptly each day and were clearly working hard over the three days of the project. Manny was very communicative and easy to work with and even went out of his way to help us with some extra items in the yard. The crawlspace looks awesome now—clean and dry! "The inspector, Chad Bishop, was very knowledgeable of his company's products and only recommended what was needed to fix our problem which is/was a very high humidity crawlspace. He spent several hours inspecting our house to properly analyze what our house needed to solve the issue. He showed us many of the pictures of the crawlspace to explain the situation. Fortunately for us we are addressing the issue before any wood rot or mold has begun...and Chad did not recommend fixes and/or equipment that we didn't need, like sump pumps and French drains, which are very costly."

"I'm pretty amazed at how quickly Alex and his crew were able to lift my entire house and install drainage on both sides of the house. The team was the definition of professional and knowledgeable. From the start, they were extremely considerate of my house, and put everything back the way they found it - almost like they weren't even there to begin with! Didn't even know this was possible! They didn't stop there though, they even filled a few small holes in the yard with some extra dirt and put grass back where it was messed up. All I can say is SUPER AWESOME job!!"

"I had a small but complicated, hard to access, and structurally essential repair job on a 60-year-old concrete deck attached to my 280-year-old Pennsylvania limestone farmhouse. I contacted several masons listed for my area on Home Advisor, and included Mr. Grady as a long shot -- I read about his expertise with historical structures and wished I had access to such an expert craftsman, but I didn't think he'd be interested in my teeny job and assumed I wouldn't be able to afford him anyway. He was the first one to return my call and to look at the job, and I thought his price was fair. I believe now it was way more than fair, considering the time he spent. He did extensive research, going over a structural engineer's report I had done previously on the deck and even examining the original architectural drawings and materials invoices from 1959. He showed up at least three times to complete the repair in stages, and has been back a half a dozen times since then to check the job -- and my location is not exactly in his neighborhood. He accepted only enough payment in advance to pay for lodging for himself and his assistant when they stayed nearby one night in order to be there early the next morning. He gave and continues to give free advice about preserving my stone house and patio. If you prod him a little, he might even share some of his personal philosophy, earned over a lifetime of work that is clearly more of an art form than a job to him. Overall, I'd say you can hire one of many competent contractors and get an adequate job, or you can hire Mr. Grady and get superior work by someone who cares about your property as much as you do."
