"Larry Conrad responded promptly with a quote. He said if he heard from me by Wednesday morning (day before Thanksgiving), "we can get this work done tomorrow before Thanksgiving." I responded that he should proceed. As of 3:30 on Wednesday the leaf removal people had not shown up. I sent an email to Larry and had received no reply an hour later. I called Larry on his cellphone. He was in Pennsylvania but said he would try and find out what was going on. Shortly afterward I got a call from Avery in the office who said the leaf removal would not be done today due to a series of complications, but would be done on Monday. I'm hoping there will be no complications on Monday. And I wish that the office would have notified me that they were not coming, rather than my having to chase someone down to find out what was going on. Hopefully there will be no further delays in getting our leaves removed."
