Floyds 4 Seasons Heating and Air is a residential HVAC company that prides itself in quality HVAC services and installations. Our company is a local, small company that brings honesty and professionalism to all homes we serve. Let our team serve your family.

"I was looking for someone to look at my furnace and give me an estimate. Josh Floyd and Floyd's 4 all Seasons was the first name on the list I called him with some general questions and within minutes he was at my door. He told me the problem was the thermostat and went to the truck and brought in another he claimed was new. He then told us the amount we owed him was 159 for showing up and 150 for thermostat. After 3 days thermostat quit working. I never got a receipt or estimate to my email. When I finally reached Mr. Floyd (not answer phone) he said he would send another which was not received . I told him I was not happy with his work and wanted a refund. He wanted to argue the fact that I never saw him take new thermostat from a box or packaging. I want my 300 back."

Air Duct Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Different air vents may go by other terms, including registers, vent covers, grilles, return vents, or supply vents. Registers are the moving slats that can open or close the vent, while grilles or grills are the same as vent covers, the piece of plastic or metal over the vent opening. Supply vents move the warm or cool air from the air ducts into a room, while return vents pull air from a room back to the HVAC system for conditioning.

Yes, dirty air ducts restrict airflow, reducing your HVAC's efficiency. This forces your system to work harder, increasing energy costs and wear and tear on your HVAC. Reduced airflow leads to uneven heating or cooling, seriously reduced indoor air quality, and can potentially trigger allergies or respiratory issues.

High humidity is one of the most common reasons for air vents to sweat or produce condensation. When the cool, dry air from your HVAC unit meets warm and moist air in your home, it will cause condensation. Insulating your ductwork can help prevent this. If you live in a very humid region, a dehumidifier can also help.

You can find the smell of mold in your house in two ways: following your nose, and using common sense tactics like looking anywhere there’s water first. Mold cannot form in a completely dry environment, which is why you see mold much more often under kitchen sinks than on garage floors. If you have looked everywhere and still can’t find the source, hire a pro, because you may have mold in your walls.

Yes, you can clean AC coils yourself. Just make sure that the power to your AC system is off before you begin. You’ll need some basic tools and supplies, including a soft brush, cloth, screwdriver, and a commercial or homemade cleaning solution. Cleaning your coils will only cost about $10.
