(removed name) is a deceitful person. I have not been able to find his Virginia License for Duct Cleaning. He wrote on our copy of the receipt AFTER we had signed it claiming deposit was non refundable. The agreement was that he would start the work before 10 am on Friday, August 15, 2025. He stated to BBB that he got upset because he was called at 6:30am to confirm he was coming (he had to be up if he was supposed to be at our house before 10 am). He kept texting for almost 4 hours that he was on his way lying to us. Then we wanted to get in agreement to at least get the materials he claimed was getting and he did not bother to talk to us. He just got to the house at almost 2 pm; took a picture and left. Then texted me the situation happened because of racial issues.

I had my duct work cleaned last week by A-1 Duct Cleaning Services. The cleaning was an extremely thorough job! He stayed until everything was done, and showed me the progress made. I did not fully understand how much the state of ductwork can affect indoor air quality. So important to have this done!

Stole $635 deposit from an elderly couple not an honest guy first thing he writes on his receipt deposit not refundable so his intention is stealing right from the get-go I?m just sorry I was busy and didn?t read it. I?m a contractor and got scammed.

"Every contract is the same and every customer gets the same results ..... if they're patient. You all were very disrespectful with your assumptions/ accusations. You all actually breached the contract,no scam and in all actuality I need to obtain the final payments due to me because of that fact. Give a free estimate did not show up on time never did any work tried to cancel. He stole $635 deposit. I believe he?s a scammer and he also left racist comments on our phone. Be aware the first thing he writes down his deposit not refundable. I?m a contractor and I got scammed because I didn?t read the paperwork I thought he was an honest guy but he is not absolutely not

Keith Thomas, owner of A1 Duct Cleaning Services, contacted me promptly (within 24 hours) after my inquiry about getting my home HVAC air duct system cleaned. Following a consultation, he started and satisfactorily completed the job in the next 36 hours. I was impressed with his prompt response to my inquiry and the quick turn around time of completion of the work. Keith was very professional and took the time to explain the logistics of the cleaning process. He did a very thorough job of cleaning dirt, dust and debris from my air ducts following some home renovations involving drywall work and plywood subfloor installation (sawdust & drywall dust). I feel confident that I won't be worried about breathing in dust particles now that the air ducts have been thoroughly cleaned. I highly recommend A1 Duct Cleaning Services.

I was impressed with the quality of the work performed by ð ¼-1 ð ¿ð ªð ð © ð ¾ð ¡ð ð ð £ð ð £ð ð ð ð §ð «ð ð ð ð ¨ in both cleaning the HVAC and dryer ducts. As a former Army Contracting Officer's Representative, what impressed me most was the work ethic displayed by Kieth. He worked until the job was done, even staying until after 1:00 AM to make sure the work was finished correctly. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

He was meticulous with all his work. He showed me what he was doing and explained why he was doing it. I had no idea an old vent system could have so much mold and dust through out. I did not know this service even existed. The quality of air in my home is great now. I am beyond pleased with the service I received from Keith Thomas. If your wanting to hire someone who cuts corners and does half-a** work, he is not your guy. He will be the only one to work on my ducts whenever needed in the future. I appreciate him and his work. The owner of the company, responding to my call, we had mold in all of our office areas and all of our HVAC. Was highly contaminated with several types of Mold . Him and his crew drove all the way to Danville Virginia about an hour away from there business and came to ours and cleaned and removed all the mold , so that we could get back to work. This was a huge office complex and was 2 story total about 10,000 sq feet . Thanks to Keith and A- 1 for their help when we were in a crisis

I was thoroughly pleased with Keith's detail-oriented approach to cleaning the ducts. He went fare beyond simply vacuuming and extensively cleaned everything with soap, including the vent covers! He spent over a full shift of pleasant, hard work to finish the job. In terms of equipment, he was well-equiped with all the professional vacuums and cleaning tools. He's obviously a professional who knows his line of work. Again, very pleased!
