"The job did take a little longer than expected, but the crawl space is really tight, that is why I decided not to do it myself. I also had him hook everything up, which I wasn't going to do at first, but I really felt he knew what he was doing so I decided to let him do it all. He did cut me some slack on the bill because I bought a new universal remote which was half of the price. It works really well! He had it on the truck, which was quite a surprise. He programmed it to control all my components and I love it. Very little learning curve. I had purchased one over a year ago and never used it because of moving and etc., it turned out to be defective and that took some time to figure out. The new one is better anyway. The workmanship was excellent and it looks and sounds great. He even performed the sound balancing procedure to balance the sound for the room. I was thinking of purchasing a new sub-woofer but he said what I had sounded great and was not necessary, that saved me about $500. He did recommend a high quality sound bar that I will probably upgrade too in the future and I will certainly call them to install. I highly recommend John and his company! He and his assistant were professional, very knowledgeable and friendly. They cleaned up everything and left no mess behind. If you are thinking of setting a AV system in your family room as I did or a purpose built theater room, call them. You won't be disappointed!

"Jeremy came out to my house to explain 1st Security's system (co-branded system with alarm.com), and gave me an amazingly good deal with the best pricing possible. The thing that amazed me was that 1st Security's pricing (both upfront equipment cost and the monthly monitoring charge, with full access to smart phone system) was LESS than the do-it-yourself options like FrontPoint. Yes--it was less than FrontPoint, even though 1st Security's pricing includes FULL installation by a professional (Larry, who was amazing--spent hours at my house making sure everything was right and teaching my husband and me how to use the system). Even more amazingly, 1st Security's monthly rate (again, less than FrontPoint) includes service, meaning that there is NO house-call charge, the way there was with my previous alarm company. If anything breaks, etc., they will come out and fix/replace it! Jeremy and Larry were both awesome--helpful, courteous, professional, prompt, etc. I highly HIGHLY recommend them and 1st Security. If you're thinking of going with a DIY alarm company to save money, don't bother--call 1st Security. They will also match other companies' prices!"
