"We've had our septic tank drained 6 times over the past 30 years and this is the best company yet. The two crew members, Jahkondeh and Robert, were professional, competent, and pleasant. They are the first crew to properly dig and refill the large hole, extracting and replacing the sod carefully and perfectly. No one has come close to their diligence and efficiency. I was offered great advice regarding the maintenance of my septic tank and septic field. I have never written a review like this before, but I felt the need to tell others to USE THIS COMPANY. A great service and a great value. I teach customer service for a living and this company, as represented by this crew, gets it right!"

"I had an issue with removing my clothes washer connections from the fixtures. I had to contact a plumber and I decided on Plumbing Innovators due to the excellent service I received from them in the past. Two technicians came (Parker and Matt L) and they removed the old washer lines, installed new ones, and tested things. They also were so kind as to provide me with water leak detector (for free) because they noticed that I had a VERY old water heater too (over 32 years old and still kicking). I was so surprised that I gave them both big hugs. They were so kind and delightful to talk to. I can't say enough about them. I hope I don't need them in the future but if I do I'll definitely call Plumbing Innovatgors."

"Ryan gave me a quote and honored it months later.
He was professional in his quote and did not insist that I use him, but did take the time to explain the entire process and why he was using the materials he was using.
He asked for 1/2 down and 1/2 when the work was done (this is usual in the building process) - he was flexible about cashing my check until I was paid a week later.   He oversaw all the work - visiting the site daily.

My thirty year old deck had rotted and needed to be replaced.  I wanted to replace it with a composite deck but I was concerned with the heat factor.    Ryan gave me samples of two types of decking ? one was all vinyl. (This is the one I choose and I love my new deck!)  Knowing that I would look up the information on the internet, Ryan printed some information on each type of decking and allowed me time to contemplate what I wanted to do.    He was helpful in explaining what material he used and why ? but he understood if I wanted different material or could not afford the job and there was no pressure to select one material over the other.

Ryan also explained that I could enlarge the back deck and it would not cost much more.    I am really happy that I listened to Ryan?s recommendation!   My old wooden deck was 10 by 10 and held a grill, but not much more.   Now I have a 14 by 16 deck that not only looks good; it is an extension of my home that I actually use!
Knowing that I was concerned about heat on the deck, Ryan suggested an awning.   He uses SunSetter awnings.   His price for the awning was slightly less than I could get it with a coupon from the company and the installation was included in his price so it was a no brainer to go with Ryan for the awing.    I love the awning!   It not only provides shade; it looks great!   I am delighted that  I splurged and added the awning to my deck.
The job was completed in a very timely manner.   In fact it was completed before the estimate that Ryan quoted.    I saw a total of
three workers other than Ryan.   Each was courteous and knowledgeable about the materials that they were installing as
well as the county code.   I was impressed with the helpers Ryan had working for him.   I would definitely use this company again for major or minor home repairs!"

"Terrific team. Received a quote, signed the contract and the installation started and was completed in ONE DAY! We were amazed. Thoroughly professional, arrived on time, wore booties to not track leaves/dirt into to our home, put down drop cloths, etc. We have an older home (no ductwork) so they installed Mitsubishi wall mounted AC/heating units, After installation, they tested each unit to ensure we were comfortable with the operation. I cannot recommend them more highly."

"NV's rep, Bruce Finley, was very patient. He initially bid with the standard black corrugated plastic pipe. When I told him that I wanted to instead use white PVC because it would not crush, he pointed out that it would cost more and he didn't think it was worth the extra money, but if that's what I wanted he would modify the estimate, which he did. I had two other estimates from other well-known companies, which had slightly different approaches that cost more money. After thinking about what I should do (and soliciting opinions from friends) for a year, I chose NV. They saved money by having the pipe drain to a flower bed in the side yard, instead of digging all the way to the street, which would have ruined some of my trees and shrubs. The crew did a beautiful job - the back patio with the French drain around the perimeter looks great. We've had a few storms, although nothing horrendous, and so far so good with the drainage."

"I had a great experience with ARS/Manassas thanks to John Curry, their knowledgeable and professional plumber. John provided an in-depth home inspection of my plumbing and educated me on the importance of venting my sinks to avoid moisture buildup, mold, corrosion, and bad odors. He also found that one of my toilets needed a new flapper valve/lift rod and corrected me on how I was using my garbage disposal, advising me to only use it for light particles stuck to my plate. To assist with the upkeep of my plumbing, John recommended that I buy a drain cleaning kit and even called his dispatch to schedule another member of his team to repair my toilet's lift rod. John Curry's expertise and helpfulness were much appreciated during the home inspection. He was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in his work, and he took the time to educate me and provide valuable advice. Thank you, John Curry and ARS/Manassas!"

FAQs for storm drain installation projects in Rhoadesville, VA

The cost to install a drain pipe is $600 on average, but the total can range between $150 and $2,000. Some cost factors that influence your project price include the type of drain, the area’s accessibility, the proximity of existing drain lines, and whether you’re installing a new drain or replacing an old one. Replacing the p-trap or s-trap under a single fixture will usually cost around $150, while replacing a main drain pipe can cost well over $2,000.

Yes, most states require plumbers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

We highly recommend leaving the work of replacing drain pipes to a professional plumber. Drain pipes are a key part of your plumbing system, and making mistakes during the installation or even using the wrong size pipes for your specific fixture can lead to an elevated risk of leaks and clogs. Additionally, drain pipes prevent harmful sewer gas from entering your home, so hiring a professional plumber is essential to keeping the risk of leaks and clogs low and avoid reducing your indoor air quality.

The average cost to unclog a drain is around $200, with prices ranging between $110 and $800, depending on the type of drain and the extent of the clog. Hiring a professional to snake the toilet or sink will usually cost between $110 and $275, a bathtub or shower typically costs around $225, and a main line clog can cost between $100 and $800 based on the severity of the clog and how far beyond the access point the clog sits. Since the labor involved varies, most plumbers will charge an hourly rate for drain cleaning.

The average cost to hire a plumber is around $100 an hour but can vary between $45 and $200 an hour depending on the plumber’s experience and the repair that you need. It’s also important to note that these prices can go up on holidays, and emergency plumber rates average $150 per hour, in addition to a flat-rate trip fee of $100 to $350
