John provided an in-depth home inspection of my plumbing and educated me on the importance of venting my sinks to avoid moisture buildup, mold, corrosion, and bad odors. He also found that one of my toilets needed a new flapper valve/lift rod and corrected me on how I was using my garbage disposal, advising me to only use it for light particles stuck to my plate. "Alex from Lux, gave me very helpful advice and he concluded that his company’s services were not warented. Trustworthy, honest advice, and he answered all my questions thoroughly with visual and verbal explaination. Lux is a company I would recommend and use in the future. In my personal opinion, Alex saved me $10-30k in waterproofing. He said that I did not have a moisture issue in my basement and he gave me 3 things I could do to make my basement environment safe and sound for the future. A different contractor came in and gave me a free estimate to put a sump pump in for $7k and then I’d need to finish my basement for an estimate of $20k. Alex from Lux, said I had a dry foundation and that my mold on my vinyl was likely a cause from a leak years ago from my washer or my dishwasher a level above. I truly felt that Alex was truthful, helpful and Honest. Go with Lux if you seek an honest opinion and company."

"I hired Alex three years ago to stop the water from coming into our Florida room. After going threw four other contractors he was the only one that took care of the problem. Now we hired him again 7/19/18 to take care of the water coming into our basement. He sent out Tyrik, Corey, Nathan, Casey J;mony, Cody and Joe. They were very professional and and kept informing my husband of the progress they were making. At the end Tyrik explained everything they did and told us if we are not happy with any of the work they will fix it right now."

"The job was done quickly and efficiently. I was present when the team did the site preparation. I observed a lot of the work out of curiosity. They worked well as a team. Deliveries of the septic tank and materials for the drain field arrived on time and in coordination with the work being done. Several tactical decisions were made regarding the installation of the drain field to speed up the job in an effort to remain ahead of the weather. This gave them time to fill in the trenches, smooth the surface, plant seed that we requested, and cover the seed with straw before the rain came. Otherwise, we would have had a muddy mess. Well done!"

"All went well. Some issues with the foundation were worse than thought so the work took a little longer but it was definitely needed. Part of an addition had been built without proper foundation as in none. It was hanging in air. They made an extra trip to replace and fix drains that had to be removed. Took extra care to make sure as little damage to carpet as possible. Terrance Blackwell and crew came for the outside work. They were great. I really appreciated Terrance's extra trip to make sure the drains were fixed. Austin Wells and Peter Dang came for basement floor lift and level and I greatly appreciated their extra effort to take care of the carpets even though they had to drill through the floor. The little extras made a big difference. Good people, good work."
