He handles a wide range of services, including TV mounting, grill assembly, and junk removal, and completes each job with skill and precision. No matter the task, he makes sure everything is done right the first time. "They did a difficult job well. They replaced our old patio with new pavers, expanding it to come to both sets of steps on our deck. They installed new French drains and dried creek bed, going around or under previous drains. They extended the drains from the roof to join the drain to the road. They poisoned and removed invasive plants. Due to the lateness of the year, it is a little too early to see how well the new French drain will work longer term or removal of invasive plants, but it's good so far and it looks good! The price was good and they worked hard and quickly."

"We needed a few jobs done for our home sale - remove/install a new microwave oven, fix a faulty outlet and check a gas stove. Being able to hire one person to do all of it was extremely time saving and beneficial to us. He was able to come out to us quickly, did the work quickly and at a very reasonable rate. Will use him more in future for new home I m sure."

"Hot water heater pilot went out. The way my system works, not hot water then no heat. Airflow were able to come to my home within a couple of hours. They were able to get it started again, but knowing it could go out again, I decided to go ahead and get a new hot water heater. They were able to get it within a day and install it. Since I bought the older hot water heater 13 years ago from someone else, I have had to have the pilot assembly replaced twice."

"A&T was friendly on the phone, scheduled the appointment at my convenience (a Saturday no less), sent out a nice e-mail reminder, called on their way to the appointment, showed up within the time window, and quickly and professionally installed a flue cap with a lifetime warranty.  All-in-all I'd say you can't do much better than that! Highly recommended!

Gas Grill Installation questions, answered by experts

The difference between a built-in and regular grill is installation and design. A built-in grill is integrated into an outdoor kitchen or structure, often within a countertop or island. It is a permanent fixture. A regular grill is standalone, portable, or cart-mounted, allowing mobility and versatility in placement. Built-in grills are typically larger with more cooking space, while regular grills come in various sizes. Built-in grills are favored for creating a custom outdoor cooking area, while regular grills provide convenience and flexibility.

Gas grill installation costs around $540 on average, not including the price of the actual grill, and most homeowners pay between $120 and $1,400. This total will go toward laying down a new gas line, connecting it to your existing gas system, pressure testing the line, and connecting it to your grill. Your total project price will depend on the length of the gas line, whether or not the line needs to be installed underground, and the cost of the permits in your area.

On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. The exact lifespan depends on several factors, including the brand and quality of the grill, frequency of use, and whether the gas line is buried or above ground. With proper maintenance and care, such as regular deep cleanings to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits, a grill's life can be extended. Protecting the grill from the elements with a cover can also prevent rust and reduce the need for repairs. Most grill manufacturers also offer extended warranties, which vary in coverage and terms.

A few potential problems can cause your gas grill to stop working:

  • Burners aren’t properly aligned.

  • Food debris is clogging the burners.

  • Hose connections may be blocked.

  • Burners may not be getting enough gas.

  • Gas valve is not working properly.

If you’re experiencing any of those problems with your gas grill, hire a local grill repair professional to inspect your grill for issues and implement a plan to resolve them.

While it’s possible to repair minor grill issues like replacing a burner, more serious issues are clear indicators that you need to replace the entire unit. A few signs that your gas grill may be at the end of its life span and it’s time to consider replacing it include:

  • Rusty or cracked firebox

  • Weak, yellow, or uneven flames

  • Flaking, cracking grates

  • Leaking or cracked propane hoses

  • Failing igniter

  • Heavy buildup of grease
