From the moment we interviewed her, we knew she would be an outstanding real estate agent. What makes Maria such a good agent is that she wears two different hats very well. On the one hand, she is so nice, compassionate, empathetic, and an amazing listener. In short, someone you really want to be around.
On the other hand, she is tenacious, driven, and uncompromising when it comes to her client's best interests. No matter what hurdles came our way, Maria would just say, "I'm on it," and I didn't have to give it a second thought.
From start to finish, we were always updated with the latest intel about submitting the offer, getting the inspection, and moving into our closing. We had a very tight deadline for moving into our new home because of a work related start date, and Maria moved mountains (often overcoming the incompetencies of others) to make sure that we hit our firm closing deadline. Even after our closing (and after getting paid), Maria continued to follow up with contractors to make sure that all the remaining repairs were satisfactorily completed.
When we first met, Maria said that her goal was not to sell us a house right now; rather her goal was to make sure that several years down the road, when we are ready for our next house, that she would be the only person we considered using. I can say with confidence, that Maria accomplished her goal, and that we will be using her for all of our real estate agent needs in the future.

The house also had a small fenced paddock leftover from ponies years ago. Mike came in with knowledge, equipment, and experience to re-claim the garden spots and tame the landscaping. Mike did the bulk of the work, allowing me to assist where I could to increase productivity and increase my familiarity with the plant life surrounding our new house. He identified what was growing around us and made recommendations. Together, we removed dozens of overgrown, ugly bushes from a pool garden, vegetable garden, and from beddings around the house. We cut back overgrown trees and removed stumps. We removed the old paddock fencing, opening up the yard to other uses. He listened to our ideas for future intended goals for the spaces, and then gave great advice on how to achieve those goals. All the while, teaching us what we can do--not what he can do for us (not pushing his services further). He was really personable and friendly, it was like we were working with a lifelong friend who came over to help us out. He was punctual, arriving when he said he would. He stayed late to ensure the job was completed to satisfaction and the worksite was left in a safe state. We will definitely look to Mike for our future landscaping needs. Highly recommend his services.

He enthusiastically pointed out spots of rust on cooling coil mounts and stated it was bad design and fraught with potential failures.
I later googled everything he pointed out as “defects and problems” and find that most of them are considered normal and of no concern as to the unit’s performance or air handling capability. Especially for a unit of only seven years of age in a rather protected area in the back of the home.
The tech found our upstairs unit required a charge of freon. Granted the system has performed a low level of performance for the last five years that I've lived here with my wife who bought the seven year-old home brand new, and I assumed it had not been properly charged when first installed. Yet the tech continued to use the word “leak” when he could not point out a leak anywhere. Even a slow leak would have exhausted that system years ago. The system has operated the same level of performance for these last five years. So who is he kidding?
Oh yes, he wanted to charge me $600 for a leak test to determine if the unit was sound. The next contractor I brought in did it as part of the annual inspection - for free.
The tech quoted an outrageous price per pound for the Freon. $120 a pound which he "discounted" to $90 a pound. My next HVAC contractor brought in charged $57 a pound.
And then when pressed for a price for simple cleaning and recharge, the tally sounded more like a medical
bill where every little action, part, and time was a separate outrageously high charge. Well over $1000. I never did get a final estimate of simply cleaning and charging the unit as various service items seemed to continue to crop up as the tech talked on.
Then the Freon Doctor tech's high pressure was put on to replace the system for "only $4900".
I've now had another HVAC contractor in who cleaned the units, charged the system and charged me $650.

From the removal of the old roof to the installation of the shingles, he was there on the job, orchestrating his employees in a practiced symphony of movement with the singular goal of a professionally installed roof system..It was obvious he has many years experience. What impressed me most was that Mr. Galeassi settles for no less than perfection from his employees; attention to detail from straight edges to exact nail placement in each and every shingle. As Peter Delisi has pointed out, he is indeed the Renaisance Man of the roofing industry.

We needed to turn a small half bath on the first floor into a full bath with tiled walk-in shower with a tile seat and handheld shower, as well as a regular shower. Our goal was to make it possible for an elderly relative to remain in her home for her declining years. We also wanted to have a beautifully executed job, with superb workmanship, in order to upgrade the home and increase its value for potential future buyers.
Neighbors were much interested in the progress of the remodeling, and to our surprise one neighbor approached us during Greg's work, and said he would like to make an offer on the house whenever we wanted to sell it, since the top-notch quality of the work being done was exactly what he would like to have for his own aging mother.
The job is now complete, and it surpasses everything we had hoped for. Greg Bassett gets a A+ for his ideas, his working standards, and his friendly and respectful manner toward the elderly woman who would benefit greatly from his care and hard work.

I have had several organizers prior to Need A Hand and had not been satisfied with neither their performance or cost. They were expensive and did not help me gain control over years of clutter. When I read a local news article about Need A Hand, I decided to give them a try. When their organizer arrived, she made an assessment of everything, then actually sat down and discussed how I would like to proceed and what my immediate and long-term goals for the house included. She then began working in my living room and I could see the progress that first day. She made me feel comfortable and included in the process, but really took charge of the straightening, sorting and organizing. I have a bad back and when I needed to sit, she brought things to go through to me and told where she thought other things should go and got my approval as she was working. I made a follow-up appointment that same day and when she returned, she began where we had left off and continued to make great progress. A couple of the things she did that NO OTHER organizer had done were cleaning where she had helped organize and collecting things of a kind for me to go through until our next session. She is friendly and pleasant, but does not stop working from the moment she comes until the time for our session is up. She is wonderfully efficient and I have learned a lot watching her. She offers me advice on how to go about determining what do do with the things that have piled up over the years, but she is never pushy. She has helped me make a great difference in my house!"},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/va/manassas/need-a-hand-custom-services-llc-reviews-7353653.htm"},"position":10}]}

Poor communication. Poor vibe from Mr. Becerra -- unfriendly and uninterested. Crew was professional and efficient: in and out quickly. Their goal seemed to be very dependable; but their sights were set on doing a brisk, medium-quality job. If there were sticks and branches in a neat pile...

If you decide an in-ground or wall-mounted basketball hoop is best for you, you should consult a basketball hoop installer. They will have the necessary tools and experience to install these correctly and safely. If you were to try to install these yourself, there is a risk of injury or improper installation, which could lead to damage to the hoop or your yard.
The cost to install a basketball hoop can range from $200 to $5,000. This price heavily depends on the type of basketball hoop you choose, as some require equipment and some do not.
For example, you can most likely assemble a portable basketball hoop yourself, with a cost of $150 to $500. However, if you're looking for something more permanent, a roof-mounted hoop requires specialized tools and roof anchors, costing a total of $2,000 to $5,000.
The time to install your basketball hoop depends on the type of hoop you're installing.
For in-ground hoops, it's best to allow at least five days total for the entire process, which includes any utility marking, hole excavation, anchor placement, concrete pouring and setting, and final setup of the hoop itself.
The time to set up a mounted basketball hoop is significantly shorter, with most projects completed in just a few hours.
While there's not a lot of definite research, some experts suggest that an in-ground or wall-mounted basketball hoop can add value to your home by increasing curb appeal. In addition, having a basketball hoop is an attractive feature of a house since it promotes physical activity, especially for children.
There are many different types of basketball hoops available to choose from.
Portable hoops are fully moveable and generally do not require assistance with assembly.
Semi-portable in-ground hoops have an anchor cemented in the ground and a removable post.
In-ground hoops are fully built into the ground as one piece and cannot be relocated after placement.
Wall-mounted hoops do not have a post or pole and work well when space is limited.
