Best deck repair pros near Mount Vernon, VA

"True decks workers were professional, polite, and skilled. In addition to power washing and staining my deck they rebuilt a gate to my deck. They did a beautiful job. If you want a great job done call true decks. They are the best in the industry."

"Kurt was easy to reach via email or telephone. Apprised us of his approach to stripping our deck of its horrible paint coating and was upfront of the general cost during his first visit. He did need to be reminded to provide a specific contract upfront. Otherwise, deck restoration work progressed quickly once weather conditions permitted start and Kurt finished the large project within a few days."

"I would give our experience with Mark Meredith LLC a 5-star rating. Price fair, workmanship from the onset to conclusion outstanding. MMLLC [Carl Walsh and his team] identified some problems in the deck they were repairing we werenâ t aware of which to us equates to attention to detail and saved us considerable money in the long run. Weâ ve decided to move forward with another project with MMLLC based on our initial experience. Strongly recommend them."

"Balteza Property Services did an amazing job pressure washing and staining our deck. They were punctual and professional, and helped us choose a proper stain. (Some businesses use Home Depot supplies and charge you $$$$ but Balteza Property Services was reasonable AND they special ordered a top quality stain.) We have had our deck stained before, but it looked nothing like it looks now. They are the best. Period."

"Alexander came personally to do the estimate and made great recommendations for a simple repair versus spending more money on a replacement deck. In the end he had a crew at my home in less that 72 hours after I agreed to the quote/estimate he provided. The crew was very efficient, completed the work in less than six hours and did a quality job all the way around. The fixed was what was quoted and then did some additional minor repair after I reviewed the work and decided to do to more replacement rail tops. The crew moved all the deck furniture to do the work and placed everything back where it was. They even fixed a loose post on the upper deck at no extra cost. I can't speak highly enough about Alexander and his workers - they are a top notch, friendly and customer service oriented team. I'd definitely look to this company for additional work and repairs. Also the price they charged was very reasonable for the work they performed."

"We recently hired JW Home Improvement to resurface our deck, repair and paint all the trim on the exterior of the house, and make other much-needed repairs and improvements. We very much appreciated Estimator Josh, Field Supervisor Clinton, and Office Manager Michelle for their responsiveness and friendliness. The team they sent to us, Alberto and Javier, were excellent! Highly skilled in so many areas of construction and painting and problem solving, they were efficient, careful, hard working, and thorough. Good natured, they took the time to explain to us what they were doing whenever we had questions. We highly recommend them and plan to hire them again."

"Petru at EcoDecks did a spectacular job with my deck repairs and enclosed patio space. He replaced a rotting support beam, broken door, sagging decking, and mesh wiring, all with incredible skill and attention to detail. From the start, he was honest, helpful, and fair in his pricing, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. What truly set Petru apart was his dedication and professionalism. Once we signed the contract, he took full control of the project, ensuring the work got done efficiently without interrupting my busy schedule. At the same time, he kept me updated through messages to make sure I was happy with the quality, progress, and final results. Most impressively, he completed all of this during freezing cold weather after a snowstorm—without a single complaint. His commitment to going above and beyond is evident in everything he does. I would highly, highly recommend him to anyone needing deck or patio work. The fact that he has such a strong reputation is no coincidence—it is earned, and he proves it through his work."

"Five years ago Rick and his team had completed a full rehab of our deck and we love it. Recently, a material defect occurred and Rick stood by his work when the manufacturer would not. At his expense, he got new material and provided the same great carpenters, (Skip, Gary, and Heracio) as last time and made things right. I highly recommend their work and am happy to share their name with everyone who enjoys our deck. Check out the photos.Thank you again."

"Andreas and his team did a great job with my deck repair. Prices were also very reasonable."

"Start to finish, two days. Great job on half my deck that was rotted. They did exactly what I needed. Thank you Alex and your excellent team."
