I hired Deck Armor to stain my existing deck, which is approximately 400 sq w/a staircase and small landing. I had previously stained the deck myself on an annual basis w/a semi-transparent stain. The semi-transparent stain never held up and would always look terrible about 6 months later. I hired Deck Armour to wash, sand, and stain my deck with a solid stain and could not be happier. They were exceptionally clean and addressed all my concerns. I opted for the "delux" package, which consisted of two coats of primer and a single coat of paint, in the hopes it will last as long as they tell me. It was not cheap but well worth it if I get years of enjoyment out of my deck w/o having to sand and stain it myself!

Deck Armor did a terrific job. They replaced rotten boards, firmed up the stairways, applied three coats, and did a very clean job. They even painted the two 2-story pillars growing through a thorny spirea bush. The value of a job is of course whether you got your moneys worth rather than how little you paid. I feel like I got every penny's worth. I would recommend Deck Armor to anyone.

We are glad we chose Deck Armor. Jim was our point of contact; he is professional, responds quickly, and answers questions patiently and accurately. Deck Armor's sales style is low pressure which was a relief after another company we looked into contacted us every other day for weeks asking whether we made a decision. Our 25 year old deck looks brand new. They low-pressure washed, sanded, screwed down boards, primed, and stained over the course of two days separated by a couple weeks. Jim stayed in communication with us as he worked around weather delays. The crew was professional and friendly. I highly recommend this company.

Deck Armor is fabulous. I am extremely pleased with every single aspect of the work they did for me. Jim gave me a thorough recommendation for what needed to be done. And he gave me a price that was more than fair. All the workers are awesome. They are professional, hard workers, outstanding communicators, and very friendly too. The job was not easy. They had to deal with challenges -- the deck being so high up and well as weather. But they got never compromised the quality of the work and were very positive about everything. If I can hire these guys to do something else on my home in the future, I certainly will.

Deck Armor LLC responded quickly to my quote request and gave me an estimate within the price range I had expected. I stressed that I needed the job finished within a month's time because of an upcoming family party. Their prep work was very thorough and they delivered on all counts. They replaced about a half dozen rotted boards without any additional charges. The job was completed days before my event and I got nothing but raves about the deck. I would hire them again.

Best money spent on our house! Deck Armor team totally transformed our large, two-level, deck into a piece of art. Our poor deck was giving us and the kids more splinters than fun, but the new heavy duty paint not only looks amazing, but is super smooth. Even during the crisis, the Deck Armor team worked with us on every detail over phone and e-mail completing the job as stated without any issues. Cannot heap enough praise on Deck Armor!

We had our deck and pergola re-finished (estimated deck size 360 sq feet). We chose the mid-option called "Semi-transparent". The deck looks great. They did a nice job on the pressure washing and the coating. Everything around the deck was covered so nothing was accidentally stained. They finished within their estimated window. We're very happy with the deck. It looks so much better.

We had one large deck, 2 balconies and a separate railing. The job was challenging because we had metal railings that required hand brushing.They spotted this issue when two other bidders didn't mention it. They did an excellent job and clearly cared about the quality of the work. For example the power washer dinged the siding a bit (which happens) and they fixed it without any questions and it looked great after. We also had a deadline that they worked hard to meet despite weather challenges. We highly recommend Deck Armor!

Very well. My deck had flaked stain and moldy areas,(see pics 1-2) and I had a date certain to put house on the market. The owner honored their promise to get the deck pressure washed by the projected date despite daily downpours, and on the first sunny day his guy was at my house bright and early. Then the owner returned and added the final coat of stain. The finished product was better than I could have expected.(see “after” photos 3-5). The cost was definitely justified and I am extremely pleased.

The job was scheduled on time and completed on budget. We did the scheduling via email. The team showed up on time and explained the process. The job took two visits. They were about a week apart to allow the deck to dry from the powerwashing. We had some boards replaced and the deck was power washed and repainted. It looks great! This was a much more affordable option compared to what other companies were offering.

I was looking to hire a company to clean and paint our deck and from the beginning I could tell these guys would do a great job. First of all, communication was amazing. I received a call on a Saturday asking for specifics about my deck and sent a few pictures. They were able to come out a few days later and give us an estimate and then start the work a few days after. The whole time, Jim kept us up to date on when he would be working and when the work would be completed. The deck looks BRAND new and they offer a 10 year warranty! Who offers that these days?! He was even kind of enough to paint a few areas that we didn’t ask for to make sure we were happy and the work would be good. This company is very customer focused and takes great pride in their work. I would recommend them to anyone!
