"We used A1 exterminators for several years. In the beginning we used them to change the dehumidifier filters. We started using them because the previous owners had used them to redo the crawl space and install a the humidifier. At some point we also started using them for pest control. We did their Guardian Plan from beginning. The guys they sent over were nice and courteous and always helpful. We were pleased with service until we were selling our home and records of services provided were requested and they refused to give them. We were needing information on if they had caulked some cracks in the foundation when they sealed everything when the dehumidifier was installed. I even had the previous owner call and give them permission to release this information. They accused me of trying to get information out of them that didn't belong to me. Funny thing is, there were absolutely no issues, but they were immediately defensive and accusing me of being in a bad place with our buyers. She talked over me to the point and was so rude, I told her to shut up. That was the end of anything I ever wanted to do with them. Had the owner of this company not been the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my life, I may have left them a good rating. Based on how she treats a customer of 4 or 5 years, I could never recommend them to anyone. Read their reviews yourself. Their bad customer service speaks for itself. When I mentioned this company to the buyers real estate agent, he confirmed that they weren't reputable as did the escrow company that did our closing."

"Mr. Mike himself saved us. We paid and had an installation scheduled after purchasing a new Range Hood from Home Depot but was surprised that on the day of the install, no one showed up! We waited for a Home Depot Contractor to arrive all day.... finally after several hours of waiting contacted their service office to find that resolution wouldn't happen for several days and we had a planned graduation party the following day. Thought of Mike and contacted him... he came over right away and installed the hood range. His price was extremely reasonable. Home Depot's installation price was $150 and Mike's price was $60. So as I initially started out by saying, Mike saved the day! Our family would like to do business again! Thanks, Mike!"

Guy was wonderful, extremely flexible, did not charge me for 2 service calls even though he had to come to my home twice on the same day to remove and replace the hot water heater while working around the floor installer. If he had not agreed, on less than 24 hour notice, to attend to the hot water heater I would have had to wait almost 2 weeks before the floor installer was available again. He is very professional, does quality work and truly lives up to his NICE GUY name. His prices are very competitive and he goes out of his way to work with the customer. I'm not sure any other plumber would have done what he did and charge the customer for only 1 service call given he had to come to my home twice in order for me to accommodate installer for my kitchen floor. I have a couple of leaking faucets to fix and I will certainly be calling NICE GUY PLUMBING after I complete the rest of my big projects."

We should also mention that Geoff did considerable design work within the framework of this renovation, consulting with us on alternative choices and making suggestions that improved the finished bathrooms over what we had originally envisioned.

Like any customer, we would always want more improvement for less money, and in our particular case, the fact that we had to pay for considerable work due to the failings of the home inspector and crawlspace contractor to note water damage that was obvious even to my untrained eye made incurring this cost frustrating.

The pricing for the work that was required, however, was eminently fair for the quality of the work and materials supplied. Geoff is not the contractor if you want something "quick and dirty," but I would enthusiastically recommend him to anyone who wants a job done right.
