First time working with them was due to our previous preferred electrical contractor failing to help with complex electrical problems at a commercial space (office space), so after some looking we found DBG Electric. They were able to help with setting up light switch wiring, installing cubicle receptacles and replacing fluorescent light ballast along with breakers. At another commercial site, we needed help with installation of power packs, emergency lights and flood lights. All of these were installed in a high ceiling area, which was no problem for DBG. "The light switch in my bathroom started making a sound and I could smell it burning. I called the company as soon as they opened. I got the owner on the phone and he said he could have someone come out to my house later that day and gave on instructions on handling the light switch until his employee arrived. His employee called prior to visit to let me know he when he would arrive. The employee arrived on time, replaced the old switch and installed in a new switch. They charge by the hour and there was still time left over, so I was able to have him check on some other electrical issues. He gave me his assessment the issues and his recommendation for the products I needed. He also worked with the owner to offer me a discount when I was ready to get those items installed. I will be using their services again soon."

"Both installers showed up on time and completed 95 percent of the work in a single day.  They did what I believe to be minimal damage to drywall -- only three holes, one of them in a closet and not noticeable.  Everything worked fine.  They had to return to tack a TIVO mini to the wall behind the mounted bedroom TV only because the Mini had not been delivered when they first arrived.  They kindly made a second trip and took about five minutes to install the Mini out of sight.

Their estimate was never varied, despite the fact they encountered some relatively abnormal difficulties accessing and pulling the cables through walls with very narrow access in a 55 year old townhouse.

Their estimate also was one-third that of another company that I had come to the house.  Also, the other company representative seemed confused and challenged by the work, which may be why he provided a substantially higher estimate.  AASV folks seemed unfazed by the job."
