"The associate was very knowledgable and friendly. We chatted quite a bit about things that had nothing to do with his visit. Really enjoyed talking to him. I'm pretty friendly so it wasn't something forced. The person was patient in dealing with my questions and very thorough with explanations as to why certain things have to be a certain way along with detailed description of the installation in particular the copper line coming out of the house. He submitted a very professional proposal. The only problem I had is they were just so significantly more expensive than some of their competitors. Their bid came in around 10 grand for what I wanted and I found it for seven installed. It might be due to who they carry as far as product line. I went with a different brand. But my choice was solely on price. Good people.

"Barry conducted the scan, taking a good deal of time with us.  He explained what he was seeing on his camera as we accompanied him on the scan, and took care to pay special attention to spots we were concerned about.  Barry has a lot of experience across several areas and was able to offer good advice on issues he saw.  I will implement quite a few of his suggestions, especially regarding exterior water management.  He also pointed out improvements that I could likely handle myself in order to save some money, which I appreciate.

"Everything went well. Needed help as, while the install isn't exactly complex, I don't have all the necessary tools/accessories to install in tall garage ceiling. Rep came out to survey area for installation and determine any details, as well as provide rough estimate. Crew came out few days later and installed rack without any issue. "Excellent experience.  We have used H&B exclusively for our plumbing and heat pump work for the last few years.  They are extremely responsive and do what it takes to get your problem resolved as quickly as possible.  Good communication about options or if it can't be fixed within the same call.  In this instance, the issue was a bad control board and the part was still under warranty years after heat pump purchase.  But the amazing thing is we didn't buy the heat pump from H&B.  We purchased it from another vendor before we started using H&B.  H&B determined the part was still under warranty, handled the acquisition of the replacement part with the manufacturer and all the associated paperwork.  The part was overnighted and installed the next day.  Meanwhile H&B were wonderful enough to haul our heavy old window unit A/C out of storage and put in the bedroom so that our senior dog would be comfortable overnight during the record breaking heat.  We've been in this area/house for almost 20 years and have used cheaper options but learned you get what you pay for.  H&B: dependable, responsive, courteous & performs quality work that they stand behind!

On Friday, he called to let me know that he was available to come earlier than scheduled, if I would like. He arrived shortly after the phone call, came in and quickly recognized that the pump had failed. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I was very pleased with his service and look forward to him returning to install a new pump."
