A team was sent and diagnosed a bad motor. Motor had to be picked up 1 1/2 hours away the next morning. Since weather was VERY cold, they left space heaters for our tenants to use, and replaced the motor the next morning. Way above and beyond excellent service

The 2 workman showed up on time, and were fabulous. They were extremely careful with the appliances, made sure everything was installed and working correctly, and cleaned up after themselves. I haven't received that level of professionalism in many years.

Two employees arrived promptly on time. One worked, the other just stood there. Could not determine why the unit was malfunctioning. Ran a diagnostic program on our thermostat. Unit was working again when they left. Malfunctioned again the next time we turned the unit back on. (Couple cool days in between) installed a replacement external thermostat, $56 (a luxury, not necessity) that we did not ask for. Billed for travel time to and from their office. If that is your policy you should inform your customers ahead of time. When I questioned why the labor charge was so high, and told it was the travel time, the gentleman in the office told me he had given me a "discount" the real labor was $300, I was billed $260, and told me only 3 people had ever questioned their billing for travel time. Guess I'm just cheap. My hvac system is now 12 years old and I expect to replace the entire system soon, but if the service visit I received is an indication of what I would get, I won't be calling Hodges and Bryant.

There was no cost for the parts, but there was a cost for the labor. They handle my home and my rental property. They're prompt and they take care of it right away. I always think it's a little expensive. They charge an hourly rate. Unfortunately, this was one of the things where they had to sit and wait for a long time for something to happen. So it cost a little more, but you've got to pay for what you get. I use them all the time. They're very good, they're very prompt and very professional. Promptness is very important too.

I am so impressed with this service provider. They are extremely prompt at responding to service requests (the last call was after 4:00 pm on a Friday). A plumber was sent on Saturday morning. I received a call over the weekend to provide update of their findings. I feel like there charges are fair/reasonable.

I was out of town and my girlfriend was staying alone in the house and called to let me know the showers were backing up and the toilets were gurgling. She called Hodges and Bryant, they came out on a Saturday without charging insane weekend service fees. There were roots growing in the sump for the septic system, which they were able to cut away. It's been about a month since they were here and everything has worked great since. I will definitely use again, and I highly recommend them.

Excellent experience. We have used H&B exclusively for our plumbing and heat pump work for the last few years. They are extremely responsive and do what it takes to get your problem resolved as quickly as possible. Good communication about options or if it can't be fixed within the same call. In this instance, the issue was a bad control board and the part was still under warranty years after heat pump purchase. But the amazing thing is we didn't buy the heat pump from H&B. We purchased it from another vendor before we started using H&B. H&B determined the part was still under warranty, handled the acquisition of the replacement part with the manufacturer and all the associated paperwork. The part was overnighted and installed the next day. Meanwhile H&B were wonderful enough to haul our heavy old window unit A/C out of storage and put in the bedroom so that our senior dog would be comfortable overnight during the record breaking heat. We've been in this area/house for almost 20 years and have used cheaper options but learned you get what you pay for. H&B: dependable, responsive, courteous & performs quality work that they stand behind!

Danny personally answers the phone, every time I call, and has someone here to assist on my project or needs that morning. The service they offer is reminiscent of days gone by. Truly above and beyond excellent and fair prices. All his team are prompt and professional.

They were so fast and did a great job. The floor was finished sooner than expected and they worked with my schedule to get the water heater put back in place. They did a wonderful job and it was much less than I thought it would be!

Servicemen arrived on time and quickly investigated and solved the problem. Since 2002 , when I moved into this house, I have used Hodges & Bryant for all my heating, air conditioning and plumbing needs resulting in excellent service solving my problems with in very reasonable prices each time.
