"I just wanted to give a shout out to VKB for the awesome work they did on our master bath this spring. This was by far the best remodel we have experienced (and we have done quite a few). Highlights include: Calvin Lee: our VKB designer who drew up a beautiful master bath plan WITHIN OUR BUDGET! Polo: our project manager who kept the project running smoothly and on time. I especially appreciated his daily project updates and taking my calls/questions in a timely fashion. Henry: our crew boss who is the kind of perfectionist you want working on your home. He oversaw all aspects of the job with care, and seemed sincerely interested in making us happy with the work. VKB: Does not foster an environment of upcharges. No nickel and diming us. We came in pretty much on budget! That's a first!!! Thank you one and all. Please feel free to use us as a reference."

"M. Brown provided an estimate and availability that just happened to fit my schedule (meaning conveniently on a Sunday and with no emergency up-charge because this was not an emergency). Due to my unusual & temporarily busy schedule, the timing and the estimates just fit and just for this time, I decided to forego 2 other estimates like I would normally do. I needed a sump pump replaced and M. Browns was able to do it with a 1/3 hp Zoeller (which is highly rated) which was a plus. I also accepted M. Brown's recommendation for adding a check valve which was not there before. He wiped the well clean, finished up the work, returned all piping and cover to original spot and tested the new sump pump; all while in a small space which was another plus because I was worried about other pipes getting bumped or breaking during the repair. Obviously, M. Brown did a great job in maneuvering the small space so that is why this is a plus. Total work was $405 at ~1.5-2 hours. Upon finishing, a quick pressure check indicated that our water pressure reducing valve was broken and manual check measured ~100 PSI. So I accepted M. Brown's recommendation to replace the pressure reducing valve if it was today. While M. Browns did not have all the parts, he improvised and got the valve from local Home Depot and added a brass fitting where a water pressure test gauge can be installed which did not exist before. Total work for this was $375 at ~1.5 hours. M. Brown's no pressure explanations+recommendations, work efficiency, professionalism, availability on Sunday all worked to what I needed and was looking for. Given LE Brown's highly rated local track record with a VA customer base, I would likely use LE Brown's services again."

"Was quoted $125 over the phone to have a water sample collected and sent off for testing. Technician collected 2 samples - one directly from inside the well and one from the bathtub faucet. I am not sure there is a protocol in place for collecting samples to limit false positives. (I suggested it be taken from the bathtub faucet instead of the kitchen sink based on my research) The way the well sample was taken is questionable and I do not know which sample was actually sent off to be tested. At any rate, it was a pleasure interacting with the technician. Upon finishing up, he advised that $175 is due. I told him I was pretty sure I was quoted $125 but I would have to check my notes when I got home. We agreed on $150 for the time being. I checked my notes and yes, I was quoted $125. I immediately emailed the company requesting my $25 refund. The gentleman who quoted the $125 called me. He advised that it was his mistake and that he was so sorry but there was nothing he could do. He asked if the $25 would have really made a difference in choosing a company to do the work. I told him, it most certainly could have. I believe the company should have stood by their quote and refunded me the $25. This experience put a bad taste in my mouth and I will not seek their services again."

"Nicole was great with communicating appointment changes and updates from the tech Kevin. The water test was extensive and impressive. I use to be a pool operator years ago, and have not seen that many variations of water tests! Very professional, polite, friendly and efficient."

"The technician was not only on-time, he called me when he was 20 minutes out to assure me he was on the way. He had all of the necessary parts and equipment on his truck and was completely done with the project -- replacing the glass and seals of my gas fireplace -- within 45 minutes. While the old glass was removed, he cleaned the interior of the fireplace and replaced the old embers, neither of which was required by the contract. After putting the new glass and seals in place, he then tested to ensure no carbon monoxide was seeping into the house. The fireplace looks like it is brand new and it functions perfectly. I am totally satisfied with the job, and the price was very reasonable. The technician left details of a service program, but did not pressure me in any way to sign up. I strongly recommend Wammoth Services to anyone needing to have a gas fireplace serviced or repaired."
