The stairs, retaining wall and planters were completed in September. In October, I had a licensed inspector at my home for another project and he pointed out that the stairs Jovel had built did not meet code. The inspector stated that stairs must be of equal rise and the lower and upper stairs were not in acceptable range with the other two. He also stated that three or more stairs required a handrail and that the stairs were POOR construction. Jovel has refused to correct the issue or refund any money paid. Please see pics for inspection report."

Moreover, they replaced the sod that was damaged around the outside of the patio during the construction with some of the old sod they saved. Our patio looks beautiful.
