"Could not be happier with the progress with The Contractors from start to finish. The quote in the beginning was detailed, thoughtful, and in-line with what we expected. We received quotes from 3 other places (both full gut job and refacing) and the Contractors hit the bill on cost, answers to questions, detail of quote and thoughtfulness. John was an excellent resource for my MANY questions on everything from details of installation to composition of cabinetry, etc. The install process was straightforward and Jeremiah cleaned up absolutely everything each day. His attention to detail was impressive. We had a LOT done-refacing on about 30+cabinets, building (from scratch) a new set of custom-sized cabinets to fit in built in wine fridge, new tile, new quartz countertops including a new breakfast bar extending along former knee wall. They even extended existing cabinets and you can't tell at all what was old and what was new. We are incredibly pleased and the kitchen is gorgeous. Any issues (no reno is completely problem free) were handled swiftly and deftly by the owner with open and thorough communication. Would definitely recommend."

"We hired Kitchen Savers to help remodel our kitchen. After a few delays due to COVID-19, work got under way June 1st. Hasan the installer was awesome. He spent 5 days in a row with us doing demolition, resurfacing the cabinets, installing the new oven/microwave, crown molding, etc. Kitchen Savers was very professional and nicely orchestrated their subcontractors (Rock Tops for the countertops, electrician for the under cabinet lighting, plumber to install the sink and garbage disposal, etc.). We are very pleased with the workmanship and the final outcome. Even when we had an issue with one of the cabinet doors a few weeks later, Kitchen Savers sent out a workman to rehang the door with a double hinge and solved the issue free of charge. The only negative comment is that while Kitchen Savers works with subcontractors for certain things (i.e. countertops, etc.), that is where things end. So you have new cabinets and new countertops, but no backsplash. That's kind of crazy. If you want a backsplash or wall tile between the countertops and cabinets, you are on your own to fine another contractor. Likewise for flooring. This caused some issues as our floor contractor wanted to demo the floor before the cabinet work was done and we had to do a bit of juggling. It would have been nice to have one main contractor who organized and scheduled all the subs."

They were professional, punctual, responded quickly to all my phone calls and emails, were thorough and their prices were reasonable.

"I hired House Doctor (Richard Atkins) through Home Advisor last year to do a refinishing job for my kitchen cabinets in a house I just bought. The cabinets were original from its 1983 construction and were an ugly blonde color. The previous owners had installed new wood flooring and granite counter tops and they did not complement the cabinets at all so we had to get them done. Richard came over for an estimate a few weeks before the job and he is awesome! Very friendly and straightforward, I thought I knew what type of finish I wanted but he was able to provide me with an excellent recommendation as an alternative (Espresso) and I am glad we did that instead, he has a great eye! He also recommended adding crown molding to the cabinets which I am also very glad we did, made a huge difference! The job took one week and was done by Richard and his assistant Glen who is also a great guy and a very skilled worker. They did it while I was at work during the days and they treated my house with care and kept everything clean. The finished product is incredible, I am not sure how to post pictures on these reviews but if you talk to Richard, ask him to show you the before and after pictures for the house cabinets he did in Annandale in Oct. 2016. Richard is excellent with customer service, I was able to keep in touch with him through text message throughout the job and he was always very quick with his replies. The only small issue we had was a small crack in part of the crown molding that occurred after the wood had settled for a couple weeks, but it was no problem at all because Richard came right back over a few days after we noticed and he repaired it with no extra charge or hassle. Overall House Doctor is worth 5 stars all the way through, I highly recommend their cabinet work!"

"King General installed ceiling fans, including running electric, installing light and dimming switches, stucco work and paint. Additionally, they have removed broken window and installed new glass; as well, they have repaired kitchen faucet assembly. They are top of the line and my familyâ  s go-to general contractor. Always on time, great customer relations and leave everything clean! !"

"Our choice was between Painting Inside and Out and another company that was recommended to us . We decided to go with Dan for two reasons -- his personality and demeanor and the process he used to prep the cabinets. His estimate also a little lower. A terrific decision on our part. Dan did the work as outlined and within his time estimate. Our kitchen cabinets were light maple and in good condition. We had them painted white and what a difference. The kitchen is so much brighter. Perhaps the best compliment came from the representative of the countertop company as he measured for our replacement countertop. "In my business we see a lot of painted cabinets," he said. "Some paint jobs are good, many are not. I do not hesitate to say this is the best paint job I have seen." There were two very minor blemishes that were barely noticeable and Dan corrected them and we can't even tell where they were. We were so pleased with his work, that we hired him to paint the fireplace in our family room. The brick fireplace wall spans the width of the family room and the mantle was a one-piece of unfinished natural wood. We also had the fireplace painted white and the mantle stained dark mahogany. Again, we were enormously pleased with Dan's work. There was no mess with either job and his cleanup was as though he were never there. Dan is very pleasant and easy to work with. We definitely would use him again and recommend him without hesitation."
