I knew only enough to know I would not do it unless it was done correctly. I was not even convinced that refacing was the right approach. Initially, it appeared to be an inferior work around. Ryan convinced me that my initial impressions were incorrect. Morgan finalized the "deal" by graciously allowing me to inspect her kitchen and then sent me a sample of my actual new doors and the matching wooden veneer that would be used to over the frames of the original cabinets. Capital Cabinet Refinancing is a small, family-owned business serving the DMV area. We had a large job refacing approximately 45 cabinets, drawers and lazy susans (white with chocolate streaking), completely changing a kitchen with outdated cabinets to a light, shaker looking one. The job also required building new cabinets for trash recycling and a spice rack. We kept existing counter tops, appliances and flooring with no damage caused by the refacing. Three outstanding individuals managed our contract - Stewart, the owner, founder and price estimator; his daughter Morgan â the program manager, and Javier, the measurer, and chief of the installation team. The job took two days and was very competitively priced. The installation team had 5 members who had specialized jobs, but were very professional working together and detail- oriented. They worked neatly and cleaned up as they went along. The job required extensive intricate carpentry with trim and molding. The team was top notch throughout the entire process. Javier quickly oversaw the entire installation process and handled the small punch list items. We learned how different refacing is from renovating â at much less cost, quicker- we are very excited with the look of our brand - new kitchen, and would unhesitatingly recommend Capital Cabinet Refacing for future work.

We were very satisfied all around. The estimate process was very conversational; Stuart did require both spouses to be there but we didn't mind and reached an excellent deal that provided good value for money. We decided to add countertop and sink replacement as part of the deal. There was a communication gap of a few weeks where unknown numbers that turned out to be the team were showing up on my phone but no voicemails were left. After that was resolved we had measurements taken and a few weeks later scheduled installation. Nicholas and his team worked very hard and installed an excellent product - I would hire Nicholas and his team again in a heartbeat.

It was a very positive experience all around. From choosing our shaker-style cabinet doors and drawer fronts in a beautiful blue/gray color to the measurement phase and talking about changes we could/should make during installation, to the clean work site and a great crew that Javier led for installation. AMAZING transformation. An old 1939 galley kitchen with original painted-over cabinets with exposed hinges is now a fresh, modern, welcoming, gorgeous shaker-faced, hidden hinges, soft close oasis. So so happy. Customer service and responsiveness were excellent. Appreciate Morgan and Javiers extra efforts.

Incredibly beautiful refacing of large kitchen ; cabinets , counters and backsplash. Javier Solorzano and crew were responsive; considerate and really created a lovely; well designed kitchen environment. My views are confirmed by house guests who consistently compliment the kitchen; even saying â  who would want to go to a restaurant when u can cook and eat in such a settingâ  . Mr. Javier Solorzano, Freddie and Tulio Perez were very punctual, polite, and professional . We had our kitchen cabinets refaced by them and they did an outstanding job. We are very pleased with the final product. They cleaned up after themselves. The price was very reasonable too. We can confidently recommend them to anyone looking to remodel or refresh their kitchen.

Javier, Edwin and Tolio refaced our kitchen cabinets two weeks ago. They arrived on time, began the work and completed it efficiently. They knew exactly how to perform the necessary tasks to complete the job. Each day they cleaned the area before leaving the house. It took two full days to reface our 32 cabinet doors and 8 drawers. The underlying cabinet structure was beautifully covered as well as toeboard,etc. We are extremely happy with their work. We recommend the Capital Cabinet Refacing Company without reservation.

This company did excellent work. They were professional, worked hard and were very responsive. The install crew Javier, Tulio and Edwin provided excellent customer service. I am thrilled with the look of my cabinets.

Not only did Javier, Tulio and Byron do an absolutely amazing job, they finished a day early! Phone calls get returned, they showed up on time each day, were very knowledgeable, and they left no stone unturned-- they also cleaned up better than I would have. We are absolutely thrilled with our new kitchen, they did an amazing job. My perfectionist husband said, "Wow, they must be perfectionists too!" Haha. Thank you!!

Highly recommend Capital Cabinets! Right from the start of meeting with Keith we were impressed. We received a quote from another company and Capital's quote was much more reasonable. Our cabinets were old and showing wear so we decided to reface rather than replace. I couldn't be happier! It looks like a new kitchen at a fraction of the cost. The workmanship of Javier Solorzano, Bayron Diaz and Tulio Perez was outstanding! The first day they were running late due to traffic but called to let my husband know. They worked 2 long days and completed the job. Since both of us work, we felt very comfortable having them in the house without us being present. All 3 were pleasant, easy to talk to, hard workers, and when they were finished they cleaned eveything up and took the trash with them. We replaced oak cabinets with a bit lighter wood and more modern handles. I love the way they look! Thank you, Keith, Javier, Bayron and Tulio!

Make sure you put everything in writing and get updated contract. I’d recommend videoing exactly what is to be done and included in price. That way it is all covered and confirm it’s in contract.

Completed on time, within schedule and professionally. Project delayed one week, due to Texas disaster impact on manufacturing. Flexible design with countertop and country kitchen sink. Great value.

Keith is great and after we selected our quartz countertop it was professionally installed within 4 days. We couldnt be happier! Thanks so much for making our beautiful!!!

The final product looks great. It has been a week, and I've checked out every drawer and door. Very minor issues. The only one worth mentioning is that the pop-our drawer by the sink (which has two pockets hooked on the inside) was not adjusted to open to only a portion of the way, so the first time I pulled it open it snapped to 90 degrees and everything attached inside flew out. The adjustment screws were easy to find and it's fine now. I appreciated the work by Javier and his crew as they kept me informed of any small issues, like where to put handles, and we resolved easily. The clean up work was excellent, though I recommend making sure EVERYTHING is out of cabinets! I had overlooked a few items and had to clean a few things later. But the cabinets, counter and floor were all cleaned well and there was hardly any mess or dust outside of the kitchen area at any time. This option for my kitchen was a good one. For a fraction of new cabinets, I have an update, clean and more appealing kitchen. It took only two days, less than I anticipated. It did take over a month from the initial start date to get all the material, and in the current situation that is understandable. Communication could have been better overall; I had to call and sometimes leave messages once or twice before getting updates to help me plan.

Capital Cabinet has my recommendation and I am hard to please! Keith is a no-nonsense salesman and a pleasure to work with. His install team led by Javier did an excellent job, respected my home, cleaned up after and left me with a modern kitchen for a fraction of the cost. I couldn't be happier.

Keith and his team did an excellent job in replacing all the doors on our kitchen cabinets. Over two days, the two installers were careful and diligent in their work, and the results are outstanding. We are very pleased.

Capital Cabinet Refacing made our 20-year-old cabinets look brand new again (actually, much better than the original cabinets) at a fraction of what it would cost to replace the cabinets. The installers were prompt, friendly, hard-working and highly skilled. The project started and was completed as scheduled, and the crew did a great job of cleaning up when the job was done. The quality of the materials used was excellent, and we couldn't be happier with the end result.

Keith, the sales man, was helpful but not pushy. The installers, Javier and Truillo did a great job. Saved money by refacing and environmentally by not throwing away the whole cabinet. Kitchen looks like it is completely new, but we only changed the facing! We highly recommend this company!
