"What a great experience! Scheduling was a breeze; and the plumber, Owen, arrived on time, well within the window after a call that he was on his way. I originally scheduled them to install a touchless kitchen faucet I had purchased; when he was here, I inquired about replacing the garbage disposal and then he noted some issues with my current kitchen sink traps (which were clear to see when he pointed them out). Owen was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional; and he immediately flexed from my initial faucet installation request to add the other two items to the scope. "We found a leak under our kitchen sink about three weeks after moving in to our house.  Having never needed a plumber before, we searched on Angie's List.  We chose Juan Carlos based on his reviews, and he did not disappoint.
He was friendly, honest and straightforward.  He came out on a Friday to diagnose the problem, and came back on Monday to repair.  He showed us exactly what the problem was, and how he was going to fix it.  When he was done, he walked us through the finished product.
Our home inspector had told us that we should replace some polybutylene pipes, so we asked Juan Carlos about it when he was here.  He actually told us that if we were planning to do any renovations (the house is a little over 20 years old), we should wait on the pipes and do them at the same time (which would save us quite a bit of money).  He took the time to explain the concerns with our existing pipes, and why we could wait on the work.
We really appreciated his honesty; and, when we do the work with the pipes, will most definitely be using Juan Carlos.  Highly recommend.

We initially reached out to several companies for quotes, but we selected KBR because the designer (Silviya) made such a great impression when she came to our home to take measurements and to collect our requirements for the project. "The owner of Stone Depot, Nick Papas, offers hands on professional service.   I am a realtor, so great service is part of my professional standard and I appreciate it in others.  Nick was always available by phone and was very responsive.  I was nervous about selecting my granite, and I changed my mind at the last minute.   Nick was very gracious and allowed me to select another granite that I preferred. His team arrived for the installation on time and did an outstanding job.  The was a minor issue with caulking, and Nick sent someone out the next day to finish it off.  I could not be more happy with my granite and Stone Depot.  I was advised to personally select my slab of granite - which I did.  All granite is different, so that was good advice.  The location for selection was in Sterling VA, which was great for me since I live in VA.
I also checked out Counter Intelligence, but found the salesman was not very concerned and did not go the extra mile to get my business.  I  had to drive all the way to Silver Spring MD to look at samples of granite slabs.  That was to far to go.  Also, their price quote was higher.  The smaller company atmosphere at Stone Depot was a much better choice for me.  I highly recommend them!
