The company main contact scheduled an appointment to review and assess the lawn, and provided a quote for the services needed (trimming the Hedge bushes, laying down grass feed, and mulching the trees). The company informed me when they would be able to perform the services needed, and they showed up as agreed. The lawn was amazing!! My attendance was not required, since I had to be in the office. Once the services were completed, the company sent me photos of the completed work, and my yard looked like a complete new yard. If you are looking for someone to cater, and professionally landscape your yard, I truly recommend FM&H Brothers Landscapes."

"Thank you for giving me my backyard back from a post storm swamp to a nicely sodded yard. I’ve worked with “several dozen” contractors as a landlord during the past 30 years and I can count on “one hand” those contractors who have clearly stood out for their quality work, honesty and professionalism. Even my tenants commented on the quality and meticulous job that was completed in the backyard. I received 5 different quotes for this job. Two contractors did not bid on this project due to the large size and scope of the project. Another very popular drainage/landscaping company in Prince William County submitted a very low price for the job but their verbal description of the work to be done and their unlimited, “to-good-to-be true” warranty was not reflected in the contract. The price provided by Premium Drainage & Erosion Solutions was competitive and the scope of work was very detailed. This project was somewhat large in scope and involved 25 yards of top soil to be added to the backyard. I’m grateful for the company’s honesty to bring in the full amount. I’ve dealt with some contractors that would bring in less but charge the full amount. Although the contract required placing grass seed and straw in the backyard they placed sod throughout the backyard at no additional charge. The backyard looks beautiful. I strongly recommend that you include this locally owned business when getting price quotes for your drainage/erosion projects."

"We had a great experience working with Mike and his DC Patio crews. Relationships are important when entering into a big project, and we clicked right away with Mike. During his initial site visit, he listened to what we were looking for, provided suggestions for us to consider on details where we were undecided, and really took it all in as it was a large project wrapping around three sides of the house. He was flexible regarding our desire to source some of our own materials, and provided a detailed, comprehensive estimate that was very competitive relative to other proposals we received. Our project was delayed due to our preferred materials being unavailable as the factory shut down for two months during the initial COVID-19 lockdowns, but once we had a delivery date, DC Patio was able to get us on their schedule and get started. The crews were great: respectful, courteous, polite, tidy. Edgardo and Victor were here almost everyday, and Henry, Marvin, Donaldo, and others joined depending on nature and scope of the day's work. Mike usually came out in the morning to go over the plan for the next day or two and walk through any design decisions that were needed. In the course of about five weeks, the crews were able to remove two old walkways (including jackhammering out a set of concrete steps), add 4-10 inches of soil all the way around the house to create slope for drainage, divert 5 downspouts with underground pipes and pop-up emitters as well as two catch basins, build the crushed stone base for the new walkways and multi-level patio, install a small retaining/seating wall as well as two long, curved steps between the levels, build three small sets of bluestone steps into the house, and install two curving paver walkways, three pavers circles, a fire pit, and a large paver patio, totaling almost 2000 sq ft! And they moved a few large plants and installed some landscape lighting at each stair riser to boot. The last step was to seed the area around the patio for grass, but due to it being early July, we all expected that it may be too hot for the seed to take root even with daily watering. Mike anticipated this and planned to send a crew back in the early fall to overseed, which he did proactively without prompting. The grass seed took hold the second time and now we are all set to enjoy our new spaces this spring! We always like to support local business who take care of their customers AND their employees, and Mike's commitment to communicating with his crews in Spanish is clearly appreciated. The commitment goes both ways - we talked to several of his guys who have worked with him for many years. I would highly recommend considering DC Patio if you're in the market to transform your property with beautiful hardscaping."

"Next Level did an excellent job resolving my standing water issue in my backyard. I felt comfortable for the first time in a very long time walking in the backyard without having to avoid mud, puddles of water, and mowing the lawn with confidence of not turning wet areas into a muddy mess. Next Level explained what were materials used and how the drainage system operates. Even after long periods of rain, Next Level was able to salvage the top layer of grass and was able to place it back after installation of the drainage system without me having to re-sod the yard. In doing so, saved me money, which is a blessing. After the work was over and a little TLC, it didn't take long for my lawn to recover. Next Level did an excellent job with the drainage system. A few years prior they also installed my sprinkler system."

"To clarify: The project was not only a lawn, but an entire front yard make-over with adding shrubbery and flower beds as well. Working with Omar is a true pleasure! He has a keen eye for what works in a particular landscape setting. He is gentle about making suggestions and recommendations based on your personal desire of involvement in planning and maintaining the completed project. He is also cautious to point out any underestimation on your part in terms of how much maintenance and time is required. I soooo appreciated that!!! Being a stubborn DIYer, I learned to regret my impatience with some plantings. Let him do it! He is the expert, he knows his stuff extremely well. He was incredibly kind, gentle and generous with me and repaired my mistakes without complaints. He uses environmentally safe weed and disease control substances and fertilizers, something I greatly appreciate, given that I have terrible allergies to chemicals. He managed to create a picture book lawn in an area next to shrubbery and under trees that refused to take any grass for over a decade. He appears at the right time to do all the maintenance chores without you having to call him. He checks on the plantings (don't ask me when, and I'm home a lot) and treats them so they look perfect at all times. Often I don't find out all the time and efforts he's spent on keeping everything looking tip-top until weeks afterwards. AWESOME!!! He not only sticks with the job until it's done, he comes by on his own time to check that everything is working out perfectly! Encouraged by the success I am about to embark on an even larger yard make-over project with him. He made sure that I understand every aspect of it, also the installation process, which is much more involved than I imagined, but I'm so thankful he wants 'to do it right!' He's honest, generous and very personable to work with. Thanks be to God! His type is rare these days!"
