The technician, Scott, showed up right on time (which is typical for SPH&A), extremely courteous (also typical), and did a timely but thorough job of the system checkup. This may be my favorite local business in the Richmond area; I feel I get a tremendous amount of value for the products and services they provide. When we needed our downstairs unit replaced two years ago, I went to great lengths to find the best possible value. During my research, I kept seeing comments about how great Short Pump Heating & Air was, and I have to say, it's all true. When they installed the downstairs unit, I was extremely impressed by the professionalism of the entire team, from the office staff to the technicians to the owner. In fact, I was so impressed that I had them replace the upstairs unit a year later, and didn't think twice about whom to call. As a homeowner, it gives me great peace of mind to have such a reliable organization as SPH&A for something as important as our heating and cooling system. "Michael and Chris did a comprehensive inspection and estimate. It was complicated because they had to increase the airflow and they had to figure out a way to add supply vent. The possible solutions were thoroughly explained beforehand. It took longer than they expected for the install because they tried to minimize the aesthetic impact when installing a new vent. They also had to find a way to get the inside unit into the crawlspace without digging up the well wall. They did a great job and did not charge more than the contract estimate even though it took more time, manpower and equipment than the calculated for the estimate. The crew members were all courteous, knowledgeable and efficient - exceedingly professional. They cleaned up completely when they were done including removal of the old system. Would definitely use Automatic Climate again."

"Atlantic Heating came out at the scheduled time, and the installers were courteous, professional and kept my house clean.   They had no problem 
installing a new coolant line, even tho another company said it could not be done!   Andrew came out to make sure the job got
started on time and correctly, and checked in several times.   He was available to answer questions, and responded promptly when we needed to move the thermostat after the installation.
They were very creative in relocating the new unit on my hill and built a very nice pad.  
Andrew Cox made this purchase as easy and painless as possible and helped me get a Dominion VA Power rebate as well as
special financing.   When I have to replace my 2nd unit, I will definitely work with him.

"A part had to be ordered for the repair! They keep me informed on status of part delivery and were quick to schedule time to install when part arrived! The tech explain how part work and what he was doing as he installed it! He also followed up by calling me later to check if everything was fine!"

"Robert Hodge came to the house at the appointed time.  He checked the requirements and prepared a written quote on the spot together with recommendations.  Very knowledgeable and experienced professional.  In the end we chose another company, but Goodman did a fine job with everything as far as our experience went.  A colleague at work referred me to them based on his satisfactory experience as a service provider and we had a favorable experience as well.
