I was surprised that Mike answered my phone call on a Sunday after 5PM when my hot water heater broke. We agreed he would come Monday morning. He was prompt, courteous and efficient. My hot water heater had to be ordered as it is an older type of system. The next day, I noticed some leaking. Mike's son came out and stopped the leak and was able to restore hot water to our house (we have a 2 tank system) while we waited for the new one to arrive. The new tank arrived and they very promptly got it installed for us. I had been using a larger plumbing company that always charged an exorbitant fee just to show up at my front door. PMK Plumbing did NOT nickle and dime me like the larger plumbing companies do. I am delighted to find a personal, independent plumbing company for my future plumbing needs! Mike called me after the installation to make sure everything was working well and verify we were satisfied. I whole heartedly recommend PMK Plumbing!

These guys are pro's. I recieved a call on Labor Day right after I submitted my request. None of the other companies did that. They gave me the best price and completed the job fast. To top if off I've recieved two follow-up calls asking me if everything is working to my expectations. I'm really impressed.

After experiencing a plumbing emergency, I was able to reach Mike. He came out to my home, assessed the damage, gave great instruction on what needed to happen and how much everything would cost. I requested a plumber in my area on Angie's List, and out of the three that were recommended, only one responded to me that day. Not only did Mike respond, he responded within 2 hours of my request. After a brief chat, and my requesting a quote- he provided me with a very reasonable quote (I am retired and not wealthy!), showed up that same day, completed the installation of my hot water heater and also brought me a new toilet and installed it too!-( had to get all the plumbing jobs done!) I have an out of town friend who is a builder who told me that the price that Mike quoted me was amazing. He also called a few days later to check that all was working properly. If seeing a van pulling up to your house with plumbing advertisements all over it gives you price and quality anxiety- then you must call Mike. You will be supporting local small business, he's a homespun, experienced and funny plumber who will stand by his work and prices. I will definitely call him again and urge you to do so too! He is now my plumber for life!

Was very pleased with the installation of our new hot water heater. Called on Friday evening and he was actually at a VCU basketball game and said he could come out the next day Saturday to install the hot water heater. Mike was professional and left the area where he worked clean. Thanks for your help that day.
