Your epoxy garage floors will last two to 10 years, depending on foot traffic and maintenance. Clean your floor regularly with a mop or a power washer using a diluted ammonia or degreaser solution. Use five ounces of ammonia per gallon of water or a half-cup of degreaser per gallon of water.

Also, sweep regularly, clean up any spills right away, and install mats in places where you expect the most foot traffic.

Single and double garage doors have pros and cons, but it's all based on personal preference regarding which one is better for you. Two single garage doors give you more control over airflow entering your garage but double the system, which means double the upkeep cost.

You should let your initial paint job dry at least 12 hours before opening the door. However, it’s a good idea to avoid direct application of silicone sprays like WD40 to rubber edges, which could damage them over time. A garage door that frequently freezes shut could need a full replacement, especially if it’s showing signs of rust or other wear and tear.
