"He came promptly and was affordable. I appreciate that he didn't charge an arm and a leg to do some caulking work for me. I will call him again for the next job."

Small jobs welcome

"I had an amazing experience working directly with Dale and his crew at Honey Didn't Done Right. Contractors by nature seem to be flakey, however this was not the case with my experience. I needed a new wooden fence & gate to provide privacy for my family. Dale was consistent in his follow up and flexible in accommodating my project. His crew started on time and kept up with the deadlines over a period of three days. I was extremely pleased with his honesty after he notified me that he unintentionally broke a sprinkler line riding my property line during the installment. This could have easily been concealed without my knowledge, however he made sure to pass that knowledge to me. I appreciated his efforts and would recommend his professionalism to others in need of his services."

"I recently hired Keltin for a complete air duct and vent cleaning, and the experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Keltin was incredibly professional throughout the entire visit. He took time to walk me through the entire process and answered all of my questions. I was thoroughly impressed by the specific steps taken to ensure my HVAC system was clean. It wasn't just a quick vacuum of the surface vents. He went to each individual room, sealing off the registers to prevent any dust from blowing back into the house. He finished by cleaning out the return drop, washing the vent covers, and left the house smelling incredibly fresh. If you want to significantly improve your indoor air quality, I cannot recommend Keltin enough. I will absolutely be hiring him again for my next scheduled maintenance!"

Caulking Services questions, answered by experts

While handypeople do not need to be licensed in many places, you should only hire insured pros for any home improvement work. Your handyperson should have active liability coverage that protects them and you in the case of an error or accident. Furthermore, if they have employees on your property, they should also have workers’ compensation insurance. If you hire an individual or a company that is not insured and they damage your property, have an accident while on the job, or become injured on your property without insurance, you can be held financially liable.

A handyperson is the professional term used to describe professional fixers who can tackle a wide range of general home repairs. Some pros may prefer to use the term handyworker, handyman, or handywoman, so we recommend politely asking your pro how they would like you to identify them during the project.

You can tackle hanging Christmas lights yourself with the right tools, accessories, and a trusted friend or neighbor. You’ll need to purchase a ladder ($100 to $300), clips ($10 to $20), hooks ($10 to $15), and lights ($25 to $100 per string).

Otherwise, you should hire a trusted holiday light installer near you. You’ll pay an average price of $200 to $650, but you’ll have peace of mind knowing that the job is done correctly and safely.

Rates vary by task complexity and time, often providing cost-effective solutions for homeowners.

Yes, you can use a dremel tool to cut plexiglass. Follow the instructions under “How to Cut Plexiglass with a Saw,” and use a dremel tool with a 561 bit instead of a saw.
