I had 2 separate companies look at my system and inform me that I needed to replace both the inside and outside units due to a blown compressor, despite my AC system only being 3 years old. Not happy with the estimates, I called Larkin to get a 3rd opinion. Larkin provided me with some direction over the phone to try first in an effort to avoid the dispatch fee. I called back when that didn't work and Ryan came out that evening. After a thorough diagnostic look into my system, it was determined that I needed a new outside system. Price quoted was half of what I had previously received. They were over the following day and did another comprehensive assessment to ensure that a new system was in fact required. The outdoor system was installed and works great. I highly recommend Larking Heating & Cooling."

"The work was as expected. They had to work a different job in the morning unexpectantly and we received a phone call that they were late. They forgot to cover he downstairs fireplace and let a lot of debris down the chimney. It was vacuumed but there was still some remnants and a lot of dust. Some of the paint on the hearth was left chipped. I have called and am waiting for a call about the chips.

"Scott replaced the water heater, and also cleared our basement floor drain that another very popular plumbing company (that supposedly specializes in drain clearing) could not clear. This other company had quoted me $1300 to excavate our basement and clear the drain. More if they had to move the furnace to get at the drain. Scott from Expert had the drain flowing freely in about 10 minutes, for $185. He also recommended the installation of an expansion tank on our new water heater, as he felt the pressure is what caused premature failure of our previous water heater. Would definitely call this company again."
