"Erie Homes was great. Ty and Chris shared the information about roofs in a clear and precise way. I love the high quality of the roofing materials and the standards they hold their workers to when placing the roof. Mike called me each step of the way, so I was prepared when the roofing supplies showed up. I even got calls after the beautiful roof was done. Amazing job!"

"While my wife and I were looking around for a new roof, we talked to about 6 different roofing companies before getting a bid from integrated roofing. Their salesman was by far the most professional and respectful, he was very punctual with the times he told me he would be coming to my home. He answered all my questions thoroughly and even taught me some things I didn’t know, he also gave me some things to search up to have a better understanding about new roofs. My wife and I were expecting it would take a week or two before they would finish but there crew was in and out in a few days. Another worried I had was the clean up since I have my 3 year old daughter and 2 dogs running around but they had my house spotless couldn’t find any trash or nails anywhere in my yard. 10/10 would highly recommend Integrated Roofing to anyone looking for a new roof."

Roofing questions, answered by experts

Flapping shingles, or shingles that are lifting or curling away from your roof, can be glued back into place using roofing cement or sealant. Apply the glue underneath the shingle, then press it down firmly. You can leave a brick on top of the shingle to hold it in place overnight while the sealant dries.

Your homeowners insurance premium may increase if you file a roof claim. Whether your rate goes up, and by how much, depends on several factors. These include your insurance company's policies, your personal claim history, the size of the current claim, and the type of damage. While a single claim after a long period without any may not trigger an increase, frequent claims are more likely to raise your premium. Additionally, insurers might increase rates at renewal due to external factors like changing weather patterns, which are beyond your control.

Costs depend on material, labor, and additional features like underlayment or insulation.

You should definitely be wary of roofing contractors who offer significantly lower prices than their competitors. Most roofers in the area are all dealing with the same cost of materials, and labor costs are often comparable, too. If they’re significantly cheaper than other companies around, it could be a scam. Read reviews and ask other roofing companies and contractors if they’ve heard of the suspected scamming company.

While you don’t have to let roofers inside your home, it is proper etiquette to offer the use of your restrooms. And if it’s a hot day, it’s polite to invite the roofers into your house to cool off and have a chilled drink.
