Very easy. Quickly scheduled and completed EV charger install.
"I could not use my tub shower at my age so I hired West Shore to install a walk in shower. Kimball and Fredy were so kind through the entire install. I love my new shower!!"
"We had new quartz counters installed by Signature Marble and Granite. I highly recommend them for several reasons. Mick and the others were always responsive to our questions and followed through in every step to make sure the results of our installation were high quality. Everything is level, centered, etc, and finished in a timely manner. Extremely helpful and responsive!"
"Maranda was so helpful explaining what she could do for me on my project she was so fair on the estimate one of the lowest bid if I would found a different way of getting the project done she would have definitely would have done the project so any buddy looking for remodeling hire her."
"Shout out to Frank for more beautiful floor work. Our kitchen keeps getting better and better! Take a look at this tile. Wish we had found Cransten earlier, but we WILL be coming back to them."
"M&M came out promptly to do the estimate and the price the best compared with the competition. Their warrant on workmanship and materials was much better than the competition as well. After committing to the work, I was given a date nearly a month out for installation. Due to my heavy travel schedule, the date was a Friday and strategically selected so I could be home and inspect the installation that evening after the installation. I had to leave Sunday again. At 4pm Friday, they called and said that their person could not make it. I pointed out to the office that this was a problem in two ways. First, if I had been home all day waiting for the fellow (taking a day off) and they didn't call to cancel until 4pm, I would have lost a day of work. Second, now they would be coming on Monday after I had left out of town and I could not inspect it until the following Friday. The office was unsympathetic to either point and bordered on being rude and threatening cancellation. This is why I de-rated Customer Service since they can't seem to hit a date when scheduled nearly a month in advance. The ding on quality is that they added a downspout from the porch which was badly needed. However, the downspout is near a basement window well and a heavy rain will make a fish tank out of the basement window well. They could have put a flexible extension on it out to the front lawn with little effort. We would assume the cost - but no one asked and we solved that ourselves. The work seems good otherwise and the value for the money spent was worth it."
"We chose to hire Troy because he came to look at the work requested before bidding unlike other contractors who bid by text. I would hire him again for tile work because he came when he said he would; he worked carefully and thoughtfully on a difficult job, he was neat and respectful of our home. We are very pleased with the results."
"Greg was prompt and responsive in every way. He stuck within his budget and finished on schedule. He took pride in his work. Professionalism and perfectionism are evident. I plan to hire Greg again with any future projects!"
"Looks amazing! So helpful and having them do the next job too. Super affordable for long plank ceramic tiles. My house was cleaned completely afterwards. Then on as if they could be any better, he hauled off carpets for me too! Yes is the word if you want a professional install! Hire these guys cannot believe I got so lucky!!!! It only took 4 days! If your time is valuable and your budget isn’t huge hire these guys!!"
"I was very pleased that Lunt Construction came right out to cut the quartz back splash. I had a difficult time finding someone locally to do such a small job that was to merely make a wider opening for a new Bosch microwave oven. Tim Lunt came right out did quality work, showed up on time, was very professional, friendly and respectful of my property. Because of the travel time from American Fork to Park City the cost was a little more than I wanted to spend but I was able to get the job done promptly and in a professional manner to complete my entire kitchen project."
Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts
Tile floor installation usually takes about 16 hours of active work along with a couple of days of drying time between tile and grout applications.
The amount of time it takes your installer will depend on many factors, including the square footage of the space, the tile material type, and if they need to make intricate tile cuts.
You can let the tile sit without grout. Don’t panic if there’s a delay between installing the tiles and grouting. A substantial stoppage isn't a problem, provided you keep the tile surface clear of dust and debris. Also, avoid walking over less stable ungrouted floor tiles as they are more prone to premature cracking and shifting.
Yes, construction materials like tile, lumber, drywall, and hardware can be disposed of in a dumpster, just not in your regular garbage. As you’re planning your project, just make sure to rent the correct size of dumpster based on the scope of your needs and be aware of weight limits. Tile weighs a lot (along with other construction materials), and your costs could increase if you exceed the weight limit in your contract with the dumpster provider.
When choosing tiles for a shower floor, avoid highly porous tile materials, like those with a water absorption rating over 7%. Don’t use non-vitreous tiles, or tiles fired at low temperatures, because they will absorb more water. If you use a highly porous tile in the shower, the tiles can wear down faster, meaning they’ll need to be replaced much sooner.
Yes, even if you’re being careful, removing tile can damage your drywall to some degree. However, you can minimize the damage done to it by eliminating a majority of the grout and taking your time prying each tile off. Also, it's worth noting that you might have more drywall damages to deal with if your tile is set into the mortar.
