"First, this was a pretty normal moving experience. Not the best ever, but not the worst in my experience either. Price and flexibility was very good. I got to pick my delivery date, not my previous experience. I paid for hours of labor, which started when they arrived and not when they left the business (or got donuts, coffee, lunch, etc). The crew was friendly and smoke free. But there are some areas they could improve on: At the time of the bid, I was told that the job was big enough they would be starting at 9 to get the packing done. Then it moved to 10:30. They actually arrived at 11:30. Packing did not get completed before end of day. The next day was supposed to be final item packing and loading (they use trailers, not a semi). They arrived at the expected time but did not get finished packing, let alone loading. Third day they finished packing, loading and delivery. It was a long day. Part of the problem was that they did not have enough people scheduled for the job. The first day had the full 4 people but only 3 came after that. when it looked like they would not make the deadline, they did bring in extra help at the end of the day. Another area that could use some improvement was the "if we take it apart, we reassemble it." My backyard umbrella was not reassembled and they lost the bolts and forgot two parts. Finally, about a fifth of the boxes are totally unlabeled. This has made unpacking difficult as those boxes ended up scattered all across the house and none have been in the room I needed them to be in."

He lived in a small building without elevator thus moving the furniture would be a little complicated. At the end of the day he moved without any issue, his furniture and appliances arrived in destination safe and with no damages. Everything was properly packed and protected. "It went very well. The move was a little complicated. I had to be out of the old house on one day and then move the following day in order to have time to have the house cleaned up before closing the following morning. Army Ant worked with me on the schedule so that my belongings stayed on the truck overnight (this was an extra charge, which they included up-front in the quote). Once I closed the next afternoon on the new house, they drove the truck to the neighboring town (in the middle of Friday 5:00 traffic, I might add!) and ended up having to move in the dark. It was not the best situation by any means, yet through it all, the guys from Army Ant were cheerful and maintained a positive attitude throughout the process."
