They came the following day to repair a huge opening of my shower wall, that had previously been exposed due to old galvanized piping. They did the job in 6 hours, complete and it looks superb!! "I hired Rodens painting to hang drywall, texture, install crown molding, base molding, and paint my house after a water pipe burst during the February 2021 freeze. We had an agreement for $25,900 in total work. I paid him $24,900 before he abandoned the job and have not heard from him since. He requires payment constantly because he does not have the capital to buy materials before beginning any part of the job. Work began on 10/21/2021 and the last check given to him was on 3/31/2022. He did not have much oversight with his employees during this time and as a result there was great variation in all the aspects of the work. Eventually he just abandoned the job in July 2022 after he stopped taking my calls. I gave up on him as I was disgusted with the quality of his work and decided to take a loss and have another contractor finish the work for an additional $8000. Problems were all over the scope of their work. There were visible drywall seams followed by terrible spray texturing of the walls which varied from very thick in some areas and normal in other areas (sometimes on the same stretch of wall). His employees did mediocre work with the crown molding. I though painting would be an easy process for his crew but they failed in that aspect as well. There were several walls that were not primed prior to being painted and this resulted in a very splotchy texture which looked terrible. They failed to properly cover some furniture with drop cloths and this resulted in primer being sprayed onto all different areas as well as on the furniture. Towards the end of the project, outlets were not even covered and spray texture and paint were applied directly over them. They did not even take the time to put painters tape over the outlets! Then, to top it off, he purchased paint from several different companies resulting in various shades of grey all over the house. There were at least 3 different paint brands used. Overall, I was very disappointed in almost every aspect of his work."

"Julio is a very professional person. His company is great and him and his crew do a great job. He drove 2 hours each way to do sheetrock and texturing for us. A few times we were not ready yet and he kept in touch always and made the scheduling easy for us. He takes an enormous amount of pride in his work and he deserves more praise than I could give him. We have 4 more rent houses we are having him do the work for. We will always use his services."

"Chose this company because of the, absolute mistake. I called because we bought a home and the master suite addition wasn’t getting enough air and was concerned about the duct work. The tech came looked at the unit and within 2 min said we needed a larger unit and didn’t even go into the attic to check the ducts. Closed a vent and said we had no options but to buy a bigger unit. Also, tried to tell us the motor was going bad was leaking oil. Paid $115 service charge to have him close a vent and be on his way 27 minutes later. I called Rose City Air for a 2nd opinion and they showed up within 30 min. Lo and behold, the duct work is tied in incorrectly and needs to be fixed and no oil leak - it’s just a “weep” plug which is normal. Yes I could use a larger unit but we came up with a solution for a couple of hundred dollars before I spend $7000 on a new unit. I called the owner to explain the situation with his tech, he told me Rose City was taking my money and thanks for doing business with them. I’d say $115 well spent to not use this company and know what kind of service you could have expected."
