"Wes and his pool helper Luke are exemplary! I can always count on them for any pool needs I have. They have gone above and beyond to help us- especially after the winter storm that hit Texas so hard. They have been trustworthy and upfront with all expenses- no surprises. "We interviewed multiple pool builders but felt that Liquid Oasis Custom Pools & Spas was by far the most knowledgeable & professional. They use the best contractors for all the various stages of the pool build from beginning to end. Ashley was on site whenever a subcontractor was there overseeing their work making sure it was done to Liquid Oasis standards. Cody & Ashley were able to answer all our concerns quickly & efficiently. You can t find a better pool company! We actually just finished the install of a new pool at our lakehouse and are now going to use them at our pool in Dallas for a replaster job! We have confidence in this company 100%!!!"

"Our 35-year-old+ in-ground swimming pool was leaking and in desperate need of help cosmetically. Cracking tiles, cracks in the plaster and gaps under our decking. Not a pretty sight! After another pool contractor drug his heels with us for a month we called Juan and he came out to give us an estimate within a week (at a very busy time of the year - early April). He was so thorough in his evaluation and knowledge of his products and our needs that we ended up signing a contract with him that very same day. His pricing was right on too! We did have a hold-up in the coping that we were going to have installed so our project did get delayed a week, but once the coping finally arrived they came back out to install it immediately (The coping had to be installed before the tiles and plastering began). But from that point on work went very quickly. We did have another minor delay when it was time to install the mastic caulking around the coping at the end of the project, but Juan was very good a keeping in touch, answering questions we had and scheduling people to come out and finish up the project. So all in all the project was done quite satisfactorily. And finally, at long last, we have a beautiful pool! It's like NEW!"

FAQs for pool construction and installation projects in Van, TX

The average cost of an above-ground pool is between $1,100 and $5,700. Costs will vary depending on the type of pool you install. The low end of the price range includes a DIY kit for around $800 and goes up to about $15,000 for a custom pool with extra features like a deck and water features. Building an above-ground pool is much faster than installing an inground one. The cost tends to be much lower for an above-ground pool than for an inground pool because there’s less labor involved, especially when it comes to excavation and running plumbing and electrical lines.

Installing an inground pool costs around $55,000, on average. The typical price range is between $39,000 and $70,000, depending on the size and type of pool and accessibility of the site. This project requires an experienced pool installation contractor as the project usually involves extensive excavation, plumbing, electrical, concrete, and careful grading of the concrete or pavers around the pool.

Adding a spa to a pool is worth it if you use it enough. Adding a built-in spa to an inground pool can cost between $15,000 and $20,000, on top of installing the pool. A separate hot tub costs between $5,000 and $8,000. These prices will vary depending on the hot tub's size, type, and features. Additional costs include maintenance, electricity, and plumbing.

From start to finish, building an inground pool takes anywhere from two to four months. Factors that impact time to completion include any weather delays, material delays or shortages, scheduling conflicts, and any unforeseen challenges. The project may take most of the pool season, depending on where you live. Because of this, it’s a good idea to start getting estimates and finding a qualified pool company at least a year before your anticipated installation. Spring and summer is the busy season for pool contractors, which impacts their availability as projects are typically booked for several weeks if not months.
