They communicated multiple times about time and date (reminders leading up to the day) and when I showed up he was already complete with the drone footage and doing his inspection space by space. He was thoroughly knowledgeable and very kind and personable. He eased a lot of concerns and then sent over a 13 page report with photos and directions. It was amazing and totally worth the money for peace of mind Amin this whole process. "The wait for installation was long and when scheduled, they called to "reschedule" due to the installer. Apparently they use outside contractors to install. When they showed up, they worked hard but one installer left for over 2 hours, leaving on one to work. They did not want to quit and come back (found out they get paid by the job and couldn't pick up a new job until ours was finished. They left the house at 10:05 PM. The salesman put the wrong transitions in the order despite numerous conversations. They also installed the shoe molding around our kitchen island wrong. I went to store in Pearland the next day. My salesman had been transferred and I met with the District Manager. It took over a week to get anyone back out to fix and then they brought the wrong transitions again. I called the District Manager and complained. She told me they weren't there to fix the island until I asked her to check the paperwork and she admitted it was on the work order. After numerous phone calls, the installers went to Home Depot and came back with something that would work. They were nice and got it fixed. The carpet was scheduled later and when they showed up, they pulled the old pile carpet and told me that the defects in the staircase would show up if they installed the berber carpet. I asked why the salesman didn't discuss that with me. He said the salesmen don't install. They suggested I fix the staircase, repaint it and call them back. I got it fixed and called the store. The District Manager told me it would be 3 weeks before they could come back even though the installer said it would take less than 2 hours to install it. I have called back and asked to improve the installation. They said they send an email to installation but I am still waiting a week later. I am calling the COO in Houston tomorrow. The first 2 times I used Floors for Living, they were privately owned but have been purchased by another company. The entire process was much different and less congenial. I won't ever use them again and caution anyone thinking about it to check multiple review sources."

"I scheduled a grout cleaning on my 2-year-old house because it had the regular gunk build up from kids and pets, but nothing outrageous with any expectation of not being able to be cleaned in the normal course of a grout cleaning. The first day, the technician came and was very friendly, very nice. Unfortunately, when he left, we noticed all the gunk and grime had splashed all over our walls, our cabinets, our appliances, etc. Additionally, we noticed that certain areas in the grout were all of a sudden very dark, where they previously weren't. We called him back out the next day, and he apologized for the inconvenience, cleaned up the walls, appliances, and cabinets, and said the dark spots were just still drying and to give the company a call if it didn't dry in a couple of days. Additionally, there was some water damage to one of our door frames to the laundry room, to which he just responded, "I remember that door frame being damaged." Unfortunately, there is no way of proving one way or another, so I left that alone. About a week later, we called him back out, he said "no problem" and proceeded to re-clean the dark spots and said if that didn't work, maybe there would be a need to rework the grout and find a similar color. I followed up with him multiple times since then to no response. The last message exchange was on Feb. 2, where I sent pictures where the dark spots did not lighten up and asked what could be done. To which, Daniel responsed, "the next step to those areas is try to match the grout color with a color seal." When asked "when can that be done?" he simply said, "let me see." Since then, I have not received any type of response, call back, etc. My house, which was essentially pretty new, now has crappy dark spots on the grout, where there weren't any issues before. There was no actual remedy, and I got ghosted. It will now cost me another tiny fortune to fix the issue that was caused by your company."
