Levinson's Construction

I recently used Levinson's Construction to transform our 2 car garage into a functional storage area and a home gym. We are very happy with the end result. Their work included putting in insulation / sheetrock and painting the walls as well as laying the epoxy on the floor. The entire process took less than 2 weeks from start to finish. April's teams were professional, hard-working and respectful. Whenever I had questions or needed something, I dealt directly with April, who is very responsive and professional. She even went out of her way to help me cover up the garage fridge with tarps and bungee cord to protect it from the weather. I will use them again for future renovation projects!

Amazing service - Fast response and quote, followed by fast dispatch and professional repair. Their tradesman came in, draped all furniture, replaced a sheet of drywall and matched the texture to our existing ceiling perfectly. They were all very professional before, during and after the repairs. 100% would hire again!

The Levinson employee (Alex, I think) got up on the roof and discovered that there were several problems with the chimney not visible to the naked eye from the street, including rotting wood that could have started to let water in if the deterioration weren't corrected. He replaced the wood, removed the mold/mildew on the chimney, and painted both the metal and wood parts. I'm very happy with the work Levinsons does. This is the second time I've used them, and they will be my first choice the next time I need something done.

April and her team did an amazing job. They fixed a handful of nail pops in my mater bath ceiling and painted, fixed where my dog scratched the garage door for many year and painted, and repaired my patio door and painted! They are awesome!

Because of a clog in the air conditioner drain line, a bedroom ceiling collapsed. We were fortunate to have our a/c service come out on a weekend night to resolve this issue. But after a night of cleaning up water, sheetrock, insulation, removing a ceiling fan and other stuff, we focused on finding someone to access the ceiling damage and make immediate repairs. With one estimate in hand, we checked Angie's List for additional names of drywall/paint contractors. We called April Levinson of Levinson Contractors. She met with us that day. It so happened that she had a cancellation and could start the job immediately. She gave us a firm competitive estimate with a crew ready to start on the job. So we agreed. The work started immediately. April was present through most of the next two days of work. The bedroom and hallways to the outside were prepped to contain the construction dust and trash. A 4 x 8 section of the ceiling was removed along with the insulation. All trash was bagged and removed. Because of the presence of moisture, a humidifier and fan were left overnight to dry the area. The next morning the crew arrived, the moisture was checked and work could commence. By the end of the afternoon, the job was complete—insulation replaced, drywall up - taped and floated, textured and the whole ceiling painted. By the afternoon, the bedroom was cleaned and all areas leading out the door. The next morning we noticed a small nick in the ceiling and that the tape line was noticeable. Alex, who did the drywall, texture and paint, explained that the area was still wet and to allow a couple of more days to dry. He repaired the nick in the ceiling right then. By the next day, the ceiling looked great with no signs of any damage. Alex was right about the taped area needing time to dry. Excellent service and price.

We were in a terrible situation where our painter left us with an incomplete mess. April and her team came to the rescue and made everything right. She was reasonable, honest and hardworking. I would totally recommend her services.
