They are responsive, reasonable & reliable. I've used them multiple times over the yrs and I ALWAYS get great service. 1 time I used them after a different plumber failed to fix a burst pipe & Chavez charged MUCH less than the failed plumber. Mr Chavez came out on a Sunday to fix a leaking house water main. I recently used them to relight 2 gas fireplaces after Centerpoint changed my gas meter (it was summer & I didn't think about fireplaces at that time). Chavez charged 1/3 the price vs an over the phone estimate from a fireplace vendor.

Called them the morning of Dec. 24 to fix a broken water pipe going into my house, shutting off all water. Got on their wait list for the day, and they ended up making it out there within a couple hours. Made the repair very quickly and got water back up and running. I was calling around for many different plumbers and they were the first to respond. They verified pricing with me before doing the work, which I found to be fair.

There was a slight mix-up with the scheduling, for which they were deeply apologetic. We got it scheduled for the next day instead and the work was fast, efficient and affordable. They explained everything they were doing in detail. Will be using them again for any future problems.

They came out on a sunday to install a new 40-gallon bradford & White water heater in my attic. And they removed my existing hot water heater that was leaking water. I appreciate that they were able to use a top of the line brand that I knew & respected. They did not charge me extra for weekend work.

I needed a frozen/burst pipe in the attic over the garage repaired. Chavez quickly fixed that pipe. Also, a previous and different plumbing/cooling/heating company had capped a different pipe (in the garage wall) but failed to detect a secondary leak in the attic causing my garage ceiling to collapse. I asked the Chavez plumbers to also replace/repair the capped wall pipe, which they did. Their prices are very reasonable (Chavez' price to diagnose & repair BOTH pipes was close to the 1st plumbers price to diagnose & cap just 1 pipe) and their staff was kind, patient, professional and punctual. They gave me the frozen/burst pipe in case I decided to file a homeowners insurance claim.

Love them! I wanted my kitchen sink and garbage disposal replaced and because my cold water shut off valve wouldn't turn, asked them to replace that too. I got an appt for the next day. Their prices are reasonable and they are professional, punctual and I think they left my kitchen sink area cleaner than when they arrived. Mr. Chavez said a double P trap wasn't necessary any longer and re-piped giving me a lot more space under my sink. I'm calling them for all my plumbing needs from now on.

Honest every time.

Our toilet in the guest bathroom backed up. The toiled in the master bathroom gurgled and we got some overflow. We called Chavez, who we have used in the past. The problem occurred around 7 p.m., so we had to wait for the following day. The appointment was set for 9:30 a.m. They were about 30 minutes late, but I learned later that they had our street spelled wrong (with a C instead of a K), but I would cut them slack anyways because I know they walk into problems and they cannot estimate exact times. Cesar showed up with another gentleman and I recognized Cesar from a previous visit, but it has been a while (which is a good thing). They had to clean out the sewer line. It took them about one hour and the cost was $285. I had recommended Chavez to a friend of ours that lives in the Heights as they were having low water pressure problems in their sink. My friend told me over Thanksgiving that she LOVES Chavez. They fixed her problem. So this is kind of like two reviews in one for Chavez. They are not inexpensive, but then a good plumber, like Chavez, in my opinion is worth every penny. You can do without a lot of things, but not water, so pay to have a good plumber like Chavez, which is a family run operation.

This is the 3rd time I've used Chavez plumbing. As before, the plumbers arrived within appointment window and were professional. It took about them about 10 minutes to figure out the problem and about 1 hour to unclog the pipe. My husband says the bill was high. I don't know what the average rate is for this job but I do know that they fixed the problem and our sink has not backed up since. I appreciate that every time I've used them, they found the problem and fixed it the first time. I've recommended Chavez Plumbing in the past and would do so again.

Work went well, they confirmed that I didn't need any additional work to be able to install gas dryer without any charge for that and removed an old reverse osmosis system that wasn't working in the kitchen

This is the fourth time we have used Chavez Plumbing at our personal and rental properties. This last time, Felix and Cesar came. They were on time, very professional and knew what they were doing. They took care of all of our issues in a timely manner. We definitely plan to use them again.

I have used Chavez many times over the past five years or so. They are always punctual and do a good job. I've been 100% pleased with their service and everything about them. Mr. Chavez himself has responded to emergency calls on weekends. When I am this pleased with a company I don't keep looking, I stick with them!

Very professional and knowledgeable. This man Julio Chavez is the best. this was a tough clog and he was very tenacious about fixing. VERY reasonably priced.

They removed the toilet, reset it, replaced the wax ring, and they had to replace the flapper in that toilet and in another toilet because the universal flappers were not fitting properly. They are really great. They do a good job every time. They leave the place clean. They are on time. They tell you what they are going to do before they do it. They are the only one's I use. I have been using them over five years now.

My ceiling is dry again.

Great! Julio Chavez came to the house to assess the work needed, and found a few things our home inspector missed (helloooooo lead pipes! Ack!). Another company quoted $12,000 for the same work, so we were definitely thrilled to receive the quote from Mr. Chavez! The amount of work required has been crazy, and they ran into some unforeseen things in the crawl space plumbing, so it took a little longer than planned. The workers are very polite and professional, and make sure to keep us informed of what's going on and what to expect. Some of the things we asked to have done - installing the kitchen sink, for example - required additional steps (because I'm unintentionally difficult!), but they plowed through like champions. We're definitely pleased with the quality of work we've received and the price, too. When we eventually have our main sewer line replaced, we'll be calling Chavez Plumbing! When you find a great plumbing company with reasonable prices and great service, it's a blessing!

They came out almost immediately when I discovered the break in my water line, fixed it quickly and at a cost much less than I had anticipated. I have used Chavez before, and Mr. Chavez has come out himself a couple of times, including this one. I always feel like they discuss options and pricing very well, that they are up-front about what needs to be done, and that they never try to gouge me or sell me what I do not need. I have always been very pleased with their work in every aspect. Also, their phone reps and customer service people who handle your call are very nice and have always gotten me served right away.

We have been generally pretty happy with them. We strayed away once but we had to come back because we didn't get good help from the others. They also installed my toilet and they did a good job with that. We have been using them for a while. I am getting ready to use them again. I found them on Angie's List.
