"Needed bottom rails and posts repaired/painted on a small section of wrought iron fence. Timely response and regular communication leading up to completion. Showed up on time and completed the work very quickly. Excellent pricing in comparison to other estimates received. Highly recommend."

"We hired Texas Fence to enclose the backyard of our new home and could not be happier with the results. We live up against a wooded area and did not want the view obscured so they suggested iron fence panels and it looks great. Since we just bought a house their financing option worked well for us. We can pay it off in 18 months with no interest. The whole process was smooth and the staff was so helpful. We did everything online and over the phone which made it super convenient for our busy schedules. I am sure we will enjoy our new fence for many, many years to come and we will be recommending Texas Fence to all our friends."

"I thoroughly vetted this company. I had been needing to get this project done for quite a while. Their schedule and mine coordinated and so did the price. I'm a 1st responder and was given a discount. Darin found that out and gave it to me; I didn't ask for it. The job was done well & on time & for the price quoted. My neighbors liked the work enough they hired him to do theirs too. In fact, the HOA liked the work enough that they hired his company to do jobs on HOA owned property with wrought iron fences. Couldn't have been happier with all work done. I would use him again, but may not need to. The job came with a 20-year material and workmanship warranty."

Wrought Iron questions, answered by experts

Installation typically takes 2-5 days, depending on the fence size and site conditions.

The price of purchasing and installing a fence around a pool is dependent on the type of fence material you choose. On average, a pool fence can cost anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000+. Chain link and mesh fences are the least expensive options, while a fully glass fence will cost the most. Having an inground or above-ground pool will also be a key factor in determining fence prices.

The ideal distance between fence posts depends on several factors, including the terrain, the purpose of the fence, and the material used. For different types of fences, here are some general guidelines:

  • Wood and Metal Fences: Posts should be spaced between 5 and 8 feet apart.

  • Vinyl Fences: Spacing can be between 6 and 8 feet.

  • Chain-Link, Mesh, or Lattice Fences: Posts can be set anywhere from 4 to 25 feet apart, with 4-10 feet being common for chain-link.

  • Wire Fences: Spacing can be up to 12 feet apart.

Wrought iron is durable, secure, and adds an elegant aesthetic to its properties.

There are many types of fences available to homeowners, including wood, chain link, wire, concrete, brick, corrugated metal, and more. Some fences offer practical solutions for pets and wild animal deterrents, while others offer aesthetics that boost curb appeal. Consider what you’re looking for in a fence to help you decide which is best for your home.
