Customers say: True professional

"This family owned business was GREAT! We needs to donate heavy furniture and have some moved downstairs after my mother passed away. They responded quickly and did a fantastic job. They left the house cleaner than it was, and were so careful with my furniture and the walls, etc. They were friendly and polite. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be calling them again for my donation/ furniture moving needs!"

"I called many companies, most were large companies that monopolize the internet. The prices were appalling. These guys had a website as I scrolled down and it got my attention. They were super friendly, gave a great quote and I hired them on the spot. They showed up the next day as planned by appointment, gave a courtesy text and removed old couches, an old TV and large desktop for a very reasonable price. They do not charge by space in their truck. Great experience. I will use them again."

Dumpster Service questions, answered by experts

Depending on the rules and regulations set by your local municipality or sanitation company, you might be able to place a small amount of bricks in your regular garbage. However, you should call your local government or sanitation company first to double-check. If it’s not allowed, or you’d prefer to recycle them, you can haul them to a recycling facility or hire a trash removal company to pick them up and bring them in for recycling for you.

One of the best ways to reduce packaging waste is to purchase materials that are made using recycled materials. While these don’t eliminate waste, they do help provide uses for old packaging materials and prevent the need to collect more raw ingredients for continued manufacturing. Recycling those same products helps complete the cycle and reduces the need for new materials in the supply chain. You can also upcycle some packing materials, like cardboard and plastic, for use in crafts and organizational tools.

You can cut costs and expedite the process of junk removal by following a few essential steps. Use these methods to save on junk removal costs:

  • Sorting items and debris into one area to reduce sorting costs.

  • Contacting local charities or donation centers for free or reduced-cost pickup of donations.

  • For tree-related items like branches, advertise to community members looking for free firewood.

  • Conduct one large clean-out instead of many smaller ones to reduce materials and labor costs.

Ensure a clear drop-off location, check for necessary permits, and inform staff about weight restrictions to avoid overloading.

Yes, you need shipping insurance. Don’t hesitate; it’s worth the cost. There’s always a chance for accidents and errors when transporting household goods, so it's good to be prepared for various circumstances, including bad weather, loss, and disabled ships at sea. Some providers include insurance in their rental prices while others add it separately. It’s also a smart idea to check in with your renters or homeowners insurance provider and ask about coverage included in your policy.
