"I was totally impressed. They first came several days ago and look at my issues, then repaired my drywall. I had three companies from Angie's List and I contacted them, but on two of them get back to me then I pick Paul's Drywall. My contact with them was total satisfactory."

"Absolutely phenomenal work. In and out faster than I would have thought. I got my drywall replaced in one room and patched in the living room. I couldn’t even tell there was ever a hole in the wall. They did not disappoint."

"It went well. I did notice some areas that weren't smooth, bubbly, and some of the refinishing material ended up on our newly tiled shower. I also was notified after the job was done that I probably shouldn't have stayed in the house with the chemicals. Communication was an issue, so if he told me, I didn't understand until he handed me a paper that outlined the instructions after the job was done."

"Charlie was able to work around our needs and they were able to repair the drywall damage almost to perfection. The repair crew was knowledgeable and accommodating to our family needs. They completed the job in the time specified and cleaned up everything as well once the job was completed. Overall a great experience."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

There are several things you should not do when installing drywall. Common mistakes include: adding too many screws, over-sanding, not adding backing support, and installing drywall unevenly. You also should avoid screwing into the same place twice, installing Sheetrock with tapered edges on the outside, and making too many joints.

If you’re looking for a reliable plaster repair company, you should start by researching local companies in your area and reviewing their status with the Better Business Bureau. Next, you can contact the potential companies to ask about experience levels, get a list of references, and ask for examples of past work. If you have a textured wall, consider asking if they have examples or references for that particular texture. This method should help you narrow your search even further. You may also want to ask each company if they provide a warranty for their work.

Yes, you can use drywall repair techniques for some types of plaster damage. Tiny holes and small cracks in plaster can be patched in similar ways to drywall. You apply the necessary compound to fill the hole, wait for it to dry, then sand it down. For larger damage, like water damage or mold, you need to use plaster-specific techniques and materials.

Costs depend on labor, material quality, wall preparation, and finishing requirements.

While fumigation chemicals cannot pass through solid objects, they will seep into any openings in walls, doors, or other closed spaces. This allows them to get into tight places where pests may be hiding and causing damage, like termites ruining the foundation of your home. It also means that your home needs to ventilate for 48 hours before returning to ensure that no harmful chemicals remain in your space.
