"My experience with this company was very good. They informed me of the process at every level. Nikki, a representative with the company , was very easy to work with. Upon completion of the job Nikki made sure that I was completely satisfied with the installation of the drywall and my choice of texture and paint color. I would recommend this company to family and friends."

"Daniel is the consummate professional being well acquainted with and skilled in the various facets of the construction industry. His people skills are second to none. We've hired him for different projects and have not been disappointed. In fact we have recommended him to our neighbors and friends, some of which have hired him to assist them in their projects as well. He is a pleasure to work with."

"I recently completed a six-month project with NRG Remodeling, and I couldn't be more impressed! The renovation of my 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home, and kitchen went smoothly from start to finish. The communication was top-notch, and the team worked quickly and efficiently, all while maintaining very fair pricing. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding, and the entire experience was stress-free—much smoother than I anticipated. It's rare to find such a professional and personable team, and I’m already planning my next project with them. I would absolutely recommend them for any home renovation and will definitely turn to them for future work!"

"Alex was a great partner to make my backyard greenhouse project a realty. He took the time to understand what i was looking for and wanting and then orchestrated getting all the work done. Omar was my assigned carpenter and he did a fantastic job. Jony did great work with setting the gravel foundation, running the plumbing and taking on a separate job of handling a drainage issue as well as install a dry creek bed. Very happy with all of the work performed on my greenhouse project. In fact, contracted Alex to repair a sagging roof on the back porch and within two days that was as fixed and painted and even rescreened the back porch. Highly recommend Alex with Grow Construction. I have another project slated for him this year to build me a Garden Studio to complete my backyard oasis!"

A cross brace for a fence gate should stretch from the top corner of the gate’s hinge side to the bottom corner of its latch side at a 45-degree angle to the bottom of the gate. This positioning distributes the bulk of the gate’s weight to the base of the post, taking pressure off the top hinge.

Costs depend on desk size, labor, included features like drawers or motorized height adjustments, and required wall anchoring.

Most load-bearing walls are exterior, though they can also be interior.

One of the most common house framing basics for decades has been using wood for the framing work. However, some framing contractors now suggest using steel frames. Steel is lightweight, resistant to fire, and resistant to moisture, all of which are areas where wood framing could cause problems. However, steel framing is more expensive than wood and limits your ability to insulate the home.

When deciding whether to use nails or screws for framing, the specific needs of the project must be taken into account. Nails have long been the go-to option for framing due to their affordability, ease of installation, and ability to withstand shear forces. They are perfect for structural framing projects where fast assembly is essential. In contrast, screws offer exceptional holding power and are particularly useful in situations requiring increased strength and resistance to pull-out forces. For projects that prioritize accuracy and long-lasting quality, screws may be the preferred option, though nails remain a dependable and efficient choice.
