It was a pleasure to work with this company as well as the supervisor Scott Thames. The job was managed to perfection with Scott arriving at 6:30am the day of the install and not leaving until 7 pm when his crew finished. During that time Scott used a drone as well as up and down a latter inspecting all day. With the pics from the drone I could watch the progress. I was 100% satisfied with the fair priced charged, the product and workmanship.

Great job on our house Alfredo! What Alfredo doesn't mention is the extra effort he went through to get Owen's Corning to provide all of the "other roof stuff" that we otherwise would have had to pay for. Despite a lack of cooperation from Chesmar, Alfredo took ownership of the process from beginning to end and made things so much easier for us. We are so glad we let TER replace our roof!

We live out of state and were searching for a roofer to replace my mother’s roof. We spent a significant amount of time online researching roofers, interviewing them over the phone, getting inspections, reading online reviews, and speaking with references. We came across all types and eliminated one after the next. Fortunately, we found Texas Engineered Roofing that stood out light years from the rest. We called the company inquiring whether they carried worker’s comp insurance and was provided with a packet that not only included certificates of insurance but also the owner’s credentials, certifications, recent jobs performed, accomplishments, and awards received. That in and of itself made this company stand out from all the others. Everything was so professionally and meticulously prepared, a sign of what was to come. We were very impressed with Brad’s (the owner) knowledge, professionalism, responsiveness, honesty and thoroughness. Brad is extremely qualified; he is a professional engineer to boot. That educational knowledge gave us even more confidence in him. He came at the beginning of the job to inspect the interior of the attic to make sure nothing would be damaged while stapling and to locate where the attic fans should be installed. At the same time he detected other ducts that had to be replaced and completed that repair as well. He was very accommodating with scheduling our job and got the necessary permits in short order. The crew manager (Elias) was on the job from beginning to end. He too provided stellar customer service. He oversaw the project and made sure that quality workmanship was being produced. The crew were very skilled in their tasks, (there was even a dedicated person experienced in turrets) dependable, hardworking, and punctual. They worked in assembly line precision and were very pleasant to be around. The work area was properly prepped and cleaned each day. The job was finished in the agreed upon timeframe. There was no damage to the property or injuries on the job!! They were very easy to work with and immediately responded to any of our concerns. They clearly wanted to make sure that their workmanship warranty would never have to be used. and that the customer would be happy. They took great pride in delivering a top notch roof. We highly recommend them and would use them again.

The team was very professional and timely. They are also very responsive to questions and have come out within a day of any request. I would recommend them for any roofing work that you need. They have also replaced my parents roof with the same high level of service.

Overall a great experience

This was for my elderly mom's house. The job was somewhat challenging and required more work than originally thought. They went above and beyond to get this job done and did an outstanding job, despite setbacks. I am very grateful I found them!

Texas Engineered Roofing & General Contracting is a very good company that provided us with a competent roofing and carpentry crew. Owner Brad is easy to work with and talk to. It is an added benefit to have someone as a company owner who has an engineering background and can give detailed analysis and recommendations when carpentry/structural changes are needed in a work project. Brad inspected the work himself that was done on our project besides having a project manager who was constantly there to keep an eye on things. This company wants to make sure you are happy with the results. Overall, we would highly recommend them.

They helped tremendously with our roof inspection, they pointed out some things a normal inspector might not have caught and wrote a very detailed report laying out what repairs needed to be done, which ultimately helped us get the roof repaired properly by our builder. They were very thorough and I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Scott Thames did a great job setting up the contractors and supervising all aspects of the repair. His team did a great job staying in communication with me through the while repair process. His office personnel did a great job dealing with the insurance. I would definitely do business with Texas Engineered Roofing again!

Working with TER on the replacement of my roof was a very enjoyable experience. Scott Thames helped with every step of the process, letting me know what each step will require. He even came out with a small crew just to perform a repair that was needed in order to prevent any further damage. The installers were on time and cleaned up to where you could not tell work had been performed. Highly recommend this company for any roofing work needed!

They were very helpful in through the process of the job for my home. They made it very easy and painless as it went through. The quality is very high and the function is very high all due to the amount of custom work and care they put in to each job to make sure the job is done to a standard of excellence that exceeded my expectations. They are your one stop shop for all your roofing needs. Make sure you ask for Chris Fahey because that was my guide and contractor through it all. I never felt in the dark about what they were doing and when they were doing it and as a home owner that is very important to me when having work done. Honestly the best contracting experience I have ever had

The receptionist was extraordinarily deceptive and rude. She mad distasteful and rude commentary to a customer’s spelling of name. She refused to contact the contractor scheduled to cancel and only wanted to provide number for customer to do so. Then hung up without notice. Upon calling back to speak with management, this receptionist disguised her voice, pretending to be a man, and stated her name was Matt and he was the manager. This was all a lie and incredibly disturbing with how long she kept it up for, eventually hanging up on customer again. She then got scared, told manager who then called customer to apologize. Assuming that this new conversation was with a true manager, she was professional and handled the situation appropriately. However, the trust for this company is gone.
