"D&N Fencing did a superior job on our fences. They installed an 8ft. Wood and metal poled fence in our backyard and a smaller wooden fence in the front yard. They were extremely professional, but courteous and friendly at the same time. They gave us a quote and stayed true to that quote Inspite of changes made by us. They were open and honest throughout the entire process and were dedicated to our 100% satisfaction. Their crew was hard working and conscientious of our needs and helped in every way to make this process painless! I am so happy that we chose them to build our fabulous fences. More than being happy about our home, we have made new friends! Thank you Daisy and Noah! 😊. They are truly a class act!"

"The office worked with me on scheduling the best time for the work to be done on my fencing. The crew arrived on time, just as they told me they would (something unfamiliar in the construction world). They worked timely and efficiently and were extremely friendly and gracious. The whole project turned out amazing. Board on Board fences are the way to go! Here I am several months later with a fence that is still looking and working awesome! I would recommend All-State Fence & Supply to anyone whether they need an installation or want to do the work themselves!"

"I had this contractor and others evaluate the repair to a fence damaged by wind. This contractor was the only contractor who stated he could replace the section of fence in the brick retaining wall as it was originally installed. Others wanted to move the fence section into the dirt yard. Imagine what that selection would look like and loosing yard space. The original quote was for a section replacement. Instead, we elected for a 100% cedar fence replacement. After the fence removal and examining the metal post, other post were found. There were 7 metal post needing replacement. The new post holes were drilled into the brick retainer wall. Brick damaged by the original blow over and new drilling process were replaced with matching brick. All original connection hardware was replaced with new black hardware. All metal fence post were painted black to match the connecting hardware. This was a suggestion from the contractor. After a cure time, the fence was sealed with 2 coats of sealer. A very professional job and worth the money spent."

"A lot of small jobs at our property over the 8 years I’ve owned it. He built a custom iron fence around 1.2 it the 2.3 acres I own. Beautifully designed and fabricated and the installation went smoothly done. He’s painted my 1,600 ft shop, chip sealed my 600ft driveway, built my back porch deck, dry walled and framed a master bedroom and master bathroom addition to my house. The man is reliable and does excellent work. Anytime I want an upgrade or even small repair done to my house or shop he’s the man I can always trust and count on to get the job done!"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Before starting a fencing project in Midland, check for signs of underground utilities like irrigation pipes, landscape lighting, or drainage systems near your fence line. Look for utility flags or unusual soil patterns that may indicate buried lines. If your property includes a pool, well, or mature landscaping, consult a local fencing contractor to ensure installation won’t disrupt essential home systems or root structures.

Helpful?

In Midland, gates and fence posts near driveways or alleys often require the most frequent fence repair due to vehicle traffic and dust. West-facing fence panels endure harsh afternoon sun and high winds, leading to faster material wear. Areas near sprinkler heads or flower beds may see wood rot or rust on metal fencing. Regularly inspect these high-impact zones for early signs of damage.

Helpful?

In Midland, plan your fencing project with attention to local soil conditions, which often include caliche rock and clay that require specialized fence installation techniques. Neighborhoods may have HOA guidelines on fence styles and heights. Watch for oil and gas easements, and be mindful of native mesquite roots or wildlife that can impact fence placement. Always confirm underground utility locations before digging to prevent service disruptions.

Helpful?

For Midland fencing repairs, you can address minor issues like tightening hardware, cleaning dust buildup, or replacing a single warped picket. Work early or late to avoid peak heat, and wear gloves to protect from thorns or sharp metal. If you notice shifting posts due to soil movement or encounter underground lines, it’s best to stop and contact a local fence repair expert for safe handling.

Helpful?

Midland’s climate features intense sun, high winds, and sudden hailstorms, all of which can challenge fence durability. Prolonged drought can cause soil to shift, loosening fence posts, while strong spring winds may stress panels and gates. UV exposure can fade or crack materials, especially vinyl fencing. The best times for fence installation are fall and early spring, when temperatures are moderate and winds are calmer.
